Review: Did not work at I thought that my wiring wrong but I have purchased another brand that work satisfactory. Review: Running stereo and Garmin chartplotter off this step-down power supply for a year now and no issues. Still working.

Provides a solid 12v output. I have a 24v battery system in my camper for a more effecient inverter and smaller cabling. Since the converter has 24v input, it is only 15 amps. So 14ga wire is perfectly fine to hook it up. I have a volt gage on an outlet and it is a solid voltage output.

Don't waste your money unit failed instantly, tried to use it on a customer's tractor to control some work lights unit shorted out immediately. Used a unit purchased locally from a electronics component shop.

Maybe it's in the description somewhere, but note that if you have a 24v solar panel, they will vary between 24 and 33Vopen. I'd expect (maybe incorrectly) that this would simply step down by 50% whatever charge it is given. And... maybe it does. But my 12v panels all vary depending on the sunlight. This seems to always put out 12V, and that's not what I want for charging batteries. Maybe this deserves 5 stars, but it isn't working the way that I expected, so I'm dinging it a star.
