0.5QT Double Boiler Chocolate Melting with 1.5 QT 304 Stainless Steel Pot

It is rather small but it suits my purpose of melting my wax and making small batches of products. The pour spout works wonderful as long as you don’t get too excited and pour fast. The weight is fantastic and easy to move off the burner with one hand if needed.

Nice pot does all that it needs to. Durable and cleans up nice. Cost was high but worth it.

Works very well and the size is just right for most of my recipes.

Love the product except it was much smaller than expected. I was in the market to order a larger version instead. Never the less great product.

I needed to evaporate the alcohol from my tincture to end with Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) to infuse butter with it for baked goods. This double boiler came through and aided in thr process. I’m sure you can melt chocolate in it, yet I’d have ti try first.

I have made several batches of scotch-a-roos. I really liked this double boiler, it's the right size for melting the chocolate and butterscotch chips for this recipe.

I love the pot, it's fairly small and light weight, would not recommend using high heat as the metal is fairly thin. The top bowl is great for pouring. The handle on the top pot however is just barely tacked onto the pot. I used it once and while hand drying it the handle came off with barely touching it. Fortunately I wasn't holding hot liquid in it at the time.

Great bit of kit for porridge, melting chocolate.. etc saves me a fortune in replacing burnt pans! Do check size thougn- its small
