The unit works very well in keeping my large living room at 70 degrees even today when the real feel outside is 108 degrees in the very humid Outer Banks of NC. Only increased my electric bill about $2.25 a day in this extreme heat. Very efficient. Customer service is also a 10+. Very happy so far. Will update again in a year. Update had the system for over a year it still performs perfectly. No issues. Super quiet. Very efficient. I will say the AC works better than the heat. That is also shown in in efficiency rating. Be sure to install a surge protector ahead of the unit. I purchased the Intermatic model. Power surges cause many problems with the computer boards Great product

We installed this unit and it blows hot air for about 30 seconds and then the temp on the coils drops to 50 degrees and won't rise again. We have tried everything the seller suggested. Because we purchased in June and didn't install it until November due to delays in construction, there's nothing they will do.

I bought this for my 30x45 garage in 2023, although didn't install until August of this year due to not having drywall finished. My issue is it's very glitchy (long press the ECO button should put it in freeze protection and keep your temp at 46 degrees). At first 46 degree mode worked and seemed to work well. Then out of nowhere the system went to Celsius. I moved back to F and at that point couldn't get 46 to work. As soon as I long press, it shows 46 on the unit and shuts off. It used to keep 46 on the unit even when off. It still shows 46 on the remote, although the unit shuts all the way off and doesn't kick on and hold temperature. I've tried turning off the breaker for a day, no luck. Looks like I either keep the heat at 61 or turn it off (should be lower settings). If I were to do it again, I would make sure it's wifi capable so I could at least monitor the temps and turn it on remotely (this unit says smart, although isn't). Rovsun does have a wifi capable 24k btu at the exact same price (although can't be added to this one). I am not sure about that product if it's any better. Glitchy hardware, changes settings randomly. Have to point directly at front of unit with remote. Not real good support on the questions I have asked Does it work, yes. Does it work as well as it should for $1100 shipped? Idk about that. Hopefully I get a few years use out of it before having to purchase a more refined unit.

this unit was very easy to put in came in without any damage all parts where in boxes i been use to using window air conditioning 18 btu's this unit saved me on my monthly power bill i have it in my bed room with my Adjacent bathroom i can't hear it run at all i keep it on auto with the temp set and fan set to auto it also heats just as good of job as cooling im very pleased wish i had bought one years ago

First off, Rovsun customer service is beyond stellar.. my compressor showed up with shipping damage, Rovsun took immediate action and solved every issue... The unit is a breeze to install for the diy person with some background knowledge in all things applied to get it installed and running... Unit easily cools and heats a 700 SQ ft area with a 20ft ceiling, so this 24000 btu unit will have no issue with 1500 SQ ft at normal ceiling heights as stated.. Indoor unit is very quiet on low, hard to tell it's on... Even on the highest fan setting it's far more quiet than a window unit... For the price, and the customer service, this is a win all around... A tip if you plan to buy this unit...make sure you purchase a hide a line kit, it does not come with one.. AA+ other than that ..
