Rubbermaid 1776473 21C Dry Food Container 21-Cup Clear

I rate the container itself 5 stars, but for value I'd rate it max at 4. It's a very simple container, nice Rubbermaid quality and the top seals securely. I'm glad it's not tapered as that just wastes space. I easily holds 5 lbs of bread flour. It's slim but tall and fits in my standard cabinets. I very slowly and carefully peeled off the label without leaving residue, but an easier to remove label would be an improvement. I paid $24 for this one container, but two days later it was $21. It should last for decades so not a deal breaker. It fit my need for a flour container and of course could hold other foods.

I already had a few of the 21 cup canisters that I use for flour, cornmeal, etc. It keeps it fresh and these line up well so everything's convenient to get to. So, when I needed a couple of other sizes, I decided on this set. It matches the rest perfectly, and the variety of sizes is just what I need for a few other baking necessities - brown sugar, confectioner's sugar, etc. I love that the smaller ones are just right for those items that I don't need a large amount of all the time, and it keeps everything fresh. The lids close tightly and stay closed, and the containers are good and sturdy. The cost seems like a bit much for plastic containers, but the quality is worth every penny. I've had the other containers for a couple of years now, and they're as good as they were when I first got them, so I see no reason to think these won't be just as good.

Love these containers. I’ve had some for almost 10 years now and they’re doing great. I use them for rice, flour, sugar. I’ve dropped these containers and they’ve never broken like another brand I have that’s “prettier”.

Exactly what I was looking for to keep my cat food fresh! usually by the time we get to the bottom of the container, the cat food is stale. This unit works perfect for keeping the catfood fresh all the way to the bottom. It holds the typical 3.5lb bag easily. I love that its seethrough, the lid is very tight and easy to remove. And the price is right!

I really can’t say enough good things about these Rubber made canisters. They conserve space, have air tight lids , keeps food fresh. are easily cleaned, available in several sizes, reasonably priced . Food gets stale when left in the box it comes in. I never leave food in the original box . Over the years I have tried a lot of different storage containers. I was attracted to these because they are about 3 1/2 in wide and 12 in deep. The perfect size for cabinet shelves. I made little labels for them for easy identification. I also cut the instructions off the original container and taped it to the rubbermade containers. These are the best most useful storage containers I have ever seen. I bought my first set about 8 years ago. I still use them and have bought 4 or 5 more sets. I keep everything in them. I have also bought at least 10 other sets for gifts. They have helped me, a very unorganized person, to organize and maintain orginization.

Great container! I have purchased three for Wheat Flour, White Flour and Sugar. They have a great seal and fit well in my cupboards. My only complaint is they are not very wide and I have trouble scooping flour with a traditional round measuring cup. I have a set of measuring cups that are more like a scoop than a rounded cup and they work well to easily scoop out flour/sugar. My round 1 cup measuring cup fits but is a bit awkward and messy. Something to keep in mind.

Our pantry was an absolute disaster with bags of this and that, part open partly used and brand new. We bought 10 of these containers because of the quantity they hold and how close they sit next to each other taking up very little shelf space. They are stackable even full of food and hold enough flour, beans, rice without having to refill them after one or two meals. These things are not designer or fancy. Which fits our home very well but maybe not for everyone. They are quite sturdy and very functional space savers. Hopefully the plastics will hold up for many years at first impressions they seem really good. We liked them so much we are back to get a few more and some smaller ones. If you cook at home like we do having a variety of foods on hand is a must. These containers have solved our pantry disaster and open container food waste we hope. Also the price here on Amazon was the best we have found.

This Rubbermaid 21cup container is great for keeping my box of cereal fresh. I remove the Honey Combs from its box and place it in the Rubbermaid container, the full contents fits. The lid closes very tightly which is what I wanted to keep my cereal fresh and bug free.

I needed storage containers for food in my trailer. I have used the containers to store pancake mix, rice, cereal, beans, etc. They are the perfect size. They are easy to clean. They are easy to use. They are leakproof. Very happy with this purchase.

De las 5 tapas, solo 1 causo problemas de sellado (estoy probando rotarla con los diferentes recipientes para poder confirmar que sea la tapa). De resto, excelente opción, ahorra espacio y lo más importante (para mi), excelente para la batalla con las hormigas!!!!

J'avais besoin d'un contenant pratique pour ma farine à pain et cette boîte Rubbermaid est parfaite. Elle contient la quantité d'un sac de 5 lb de farine. Le couvercle scelle de façon sécuritaire et il est assez souple pour rendre l'ouverture et la fermeture très faciles. C'est la grande force de cette gamme Rubbermaid. Mais le meilleur est pour la fin: sa forme étroite, avec un creux pour les doigts, et ce, de chaque côté, rend la prise d'une seule main ultra-facile et sans danger de l'échapper. Et c'est exactement ce que je voulais. Sur ce point, Oxo et Starfrit, qui font aussi des boîtes à farine, ont manqué leur coup: il faut les tenir à deux mains, tellement elles sont larges, et elles sont plus chères. J'oubliais: il y a des graduations en tasses et en litres pour voir combien il reste de farine. Rapport qualité-prix: 10/10 pour Rubbermaid.

The boxes do exactly as advertized - they are of a large capacity, made of a flexible & robust plastic AND the lids form a tight, pest-proof seal. WELL DONE RUBBERMAID!!

Had some already but smaller , bought bigger ones this time . They're great for flour ,sugar , pasta , rice etc.. Love them.
