Kasla Rollator Travel Bag

This worked well on a recent vacation to put my husband’s wheelchair inside. The straps worked well on the outside to secure the large bag a little tighter on the chair. Unfortunately, I ended up having to drag the chair inside the bag quite a distance on carpet along the jet bridge, resulting in a little hole in the bottom of the bag. But it did protect the chair and I think it will work for one or two more airplane rides. Even getting just three trips….for the cost, it is definitely worth protecting an expensive wheelchair from getting scratched. I will purchase another….

I used this to cover/protect my Drive Meducal Nitro rollator walker when flying. This type of walker collapses side to side so the hand grips are next to each other. It worked well for me. I have used this bag for two round trip flights (a total of four gate checks). Always GATE CHECK your walker. My tips for you: with the handlebars in the lowest position, the walker fits into the bag. The handle and zipper are situated such that the walker is on its side in the bag. To protect the brakes and brake cables, place the collapsed walker into the bag with the hand grips on the zipper side. Before placing the walker in the bag, I did the following: 1. Used a strong cloth strip to tie the back wheels to the frame to keep them from flopping around inside the bag. This resulted in the wheels arriving with no damage. 2. Left the brakes in an unlocked position. I placed a small piece of foam between the unlocked brake and hand grip then wrapped fabric around the hand grip and brake as one to prevent the brake handle from moving so that it couldn’t break off. 3. Purchased the red “medical device-handle with care” luggage tag to put on the handle. 4. Gate checked the walker in its storage bag then picked it up on the gangway after landing. This insured the walker was last on, first off at the gate 5. DON’T check the walker at the check in desk to send it to baggage claim. If you do that, it will be thrown around with suitcases and most likely arrive damaged. I use wheelchair assistance in an airport. My traveling companion pushed my walker with our carryons piled on the walker seat.

MY DEVICE: WINLOVE 2 in 1 Rollator Walker I ordered a replacement bag per the issues I was having before (see original review below). The new (unused!) bag arrived quickly, and I was so happy to see my device still fit perfectly. However, after the first leg of my trip (<1 hr flight, checked bag), the bag had some of the same rips and tears that were on the used bag they sent me. THIS IS OBVIOUSLY WEAK FABRIC. I realize this isn’t a heavy-duty bag or anything, but I expected it to last for more than 1 flight. It fits my chair so well, however, that I am going to endeavor to find someone to patch/reinforce it for me. Or maybe we can cannibalize it to find the dimensions and have another made. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was super duper bummed… I’ve been looking for a bag to fit my rollator/wheelchair combo and finally found this— it fits like a glove! Unfortunately it came with obvious signs of use and abuse. Apart from the animal hair, it’s FULL of rips, tears and holes. I’m ordering another (and hopefully it won’t be used this time, since I PAID FOR A NEW ONE), but it’s super annoying to have to do that so close to my planned trip. Should have simply sent me a new one in the first place- not sure what they were trying to pull… it was wadded up and stuffed into a plastic bag, willy-nilly style.

Took a portable wheel chair on a trip this summer and used the travel bag to carry the chair and check it in with the airline. Worked out really well. The strap made it possible to carry the chair when we were not able to push it. Only problem we encountered was the bag was somewhat bigger than the chair and the cloth got a couple of small tears in it. SUGGESTION: Use velcro straps to secure the bag more tightly.

Exactly as described & worked great! Perfect for what we needed it for! Completely covered the wheelchair & seat cushion with extra room to spare. Now we can store it in the garage.

I purchased the 28x10x30 cover for my husband’s tall Drive Nitro Sprint Rollator for our trip to Florida. It survived four flights with only a small tear. That tear was the result of someone dragging the bag instead of carrying it by the handles. I don’t find this a flaw in the product. If you drag almost anything over concrete, the material will give away.

This is probably the worst purchase I ever made on Amazon. I bought this as a cover to a rollator that I recently bought as I was flying to Rome & then getting on a cruise. I covered my rollator & checked it at the RNO airport where it was carefully marked as 'fragile/handle with care'. The gate agent did NOT put it on the conveyor belt & marked & treated it as oversized luggage so that it would be hand loaded, etc. By the time it arrived in Rome where it was also hand unloaded as oversized luggage, the cover was torn in multiple places & frayed in others. It was such a mess that I had to remove it to even be able to carry the rollator. The fabric is simply too thin & unsupported for this to be a viable option for covering a rollator for travel.

As a storage bag, the Kasla can hold a great deal but the storage space isn't organised in such a way that a chair can be carried comfortably. When carrying a chair and its separated parts, this bag becomes unwieldy. Consequently, this product fails in its primary purpose because a bag should store and carry comfortably.

Well packed and comes with a storage case. I wished the zipper little bit bigger I.e. heavy duty also noticed the materil is light. Need to be used over time to determine its durability.

El tamaño es el adecuado. Es un poco práctico cargarla. Y lo que me gustaría más es que la hubieran reforzado un poco mas.
