AOMEES Torch, Rechargeable LED Torches USB P70 for Identification Camping Night Fishing

A great fun piece of kit, two levels of light on the main beam + flashing. The flashing mode is supposed to signal SOS but I know Morse Code and it doesn't ! Still it's very bright as is the COB light on the side which can also flash red/white. The main beam features an UV mode and although I don't think I'll detect many Scorpions here in the UK with it fun to use nevertheless.On a technical note the wavelength of the UV LED is 395 nm which means it would not be suitable for sterilisation so don't run away with the idea you can wave it over your face mask to clean it up, it won't work.Very well made all metal torch but be careful with the charging socket cover which is just a thin piece of rubber to make a waterproof seal. Well worth the money if you can pick one up cheap as I managed to.

I spent 1/2 an hour trying to get the COB light to work on the 1st torch I ordered. I read the user guide over and over, with no luck, so I returned it and bought a second one.The 2nd torch had the same problem, until after several minutes out of frustration I pressed the switch several times very quickly .. hey presto the COB light came on!The after checking the instructions yet again, I noticed in tiny words on the diagram "double click to activate COB" underneath the Power button!So, sorry for the return AOMEES .. maybe make the instructions a bit clearer for old gits like me!Anyway, in the end I love the torch .. it's really well made and amazingly bright. I can't comment on the battery lifespan, but if it really 5000mah it should be excellent.

This torch is fantastic!! So impressed by it, so bright for the size of it different coloured lights and settings,couldn't believe how bright it was it lights the whole of my garden up if I have to nip outside,it appears to be magnetic too, absolute bargain I'll be buying another one, perfect if you have a power cut or anything,love the fact I don't have to use batteries & change them all the time just charge this one up,comes with the lead to charge up, extremely pleased with this product

So far, the best small torch I have ever bought, and at a very reasonable price. I plan to buy another. The main beam, which is focusable, is extremely bright, and the sequence of various options includes what seems to be a potentially useful emergency function of rapid bright flashing alternate red and white lights. (You know, those fantasies or nightmares about missing the last lift and being caught out on the mountain - if in an emergency you cannot get a phone signal, a good torch could save your life.) The only thing not tested is battery durability.

ordered this product to fit into my First Aid Kit. Arrived quickly and was packaged nicely.I am skeptical about ordering torches online, I have had issues with them breaking before, so I tried to test it for a few hours, and switching between the modes. so far, it has worked perfectly. it is VERY bright, the UV is a true UV and not just a blue light (there are two chips in the front) - and the side cob is very bright too, the red light works well for map reading, and the strobe will help in an emergency.I am genuinly impressed with this torch, Will need to order some more.

This torch has it all. Three ordinary torch functions. UV light function. On handle equivilant of small inspection light and hazzard light. Recharges the battery within the unit. Solidly built. Great buy.

Poor quality, unable to take a charge unless end was unscrewed till literally falling off, once charging it kept turning green after 1-2 minutes but when taken off charge assuming it was already full it failed to illuminate.Packaging was a disappointment too, no protective bubble wrap inside just a box and outer delivery thin cardboard envelope style box.Returned same day
