Most convenient compost bin! I have minimal counter space so would prefer not to have my bin taking up any of it. The lid opens in two directions for extra convenience. I no longer have to put egg shells, veggie & fruit peelings into the sink or colander , just slide down the lid & peel directly over the open bin. Not sure about ease of the bag removal & replacement as I’ve only put in my 1st bag. Could easily add a charcoal filter if it becomes to aromatic. Will be easy to wash out & the blue is a nice color. Think I’ll cover the label with a different sticker, as it could be cuter. Capacity is just fine & fits this bin as well as the one I am replacing, an Oxo. Thanks guys!

I'm not sure how long it will last as it seems fairly flimsy, BUT it works really well so far and fits nicely on the back side of the cabinet. Very easy to use. You have to remove the lid completely to get the bag out, but I also like that it came with bags!

I didn't know how well this contained the smell of the compost in the kitchen (WITHOUT A FILTER) until I popped it open to put my veggie scraps the other day. It looks nice and is out of the way. My only complaint is that I wish it were slightly bigger and had a push button open.

Our town is beginning to collect food scraps for recycling. The Town handed out very inexpensive bins that had perforated sides and cover. After only a couple of weeks of using that bin, I realized what I really needed in a bin. The slim design of this bin is nice for reducing its footprint. The cover has two different ways you can open it, which you don't realize you need, until you begin recycling food scraps on a daily basis. The solid lid is essential for retaining odors within the bin. The lid is very easy to remove, allowing for easy placement of the compostible liners. The design also holds the liners in place. The purchase also came with accessories that I haven't fully utilized. Needless to say I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone beginning to recycle food scraps!

The media could not be loaded. We have been using this for a few months and absolutely love it. The grocery bags for perfectly in them and hanging them over the back of the can keeps it secure. It can fit in tight spaces and is easy to remove when you need to sweep stuff off the counter into it or empty the vacuum canister into it. Love that it has two ways of opening so that you don't mess up the sides if you have wet garbage or a lot of stuff to throw away. The lid comes off so you can clean it easily and the bin is very light and easy to clean also. Color matches our cabinets. We love it and visitors tell us it's adorable.

I love This. I have No place to put a proper trash can. This hangs over cabinet door and is great for cooking and clean up. It’s a pretty aqua. Matches my kitchen.

It hangs beside my stove, is easy to open with one hand (and since the lid pulls forward, it stays open with no trouble), contains odors well when closed, and is a good size for holding an average meal’s worth of food scraps until I can get them out to the compost pile.The can seals so well, in fact, that condensation collects on the inside of the lid if you leave juicy scraps in there for too long, which wouldn’t be a problem except that the lid itself is hollow for some reason — I guess to accommodate the slot where the little plastic scraper tool is stored. Thus, if the can isn’t emptied in right away, you can end up with a good amount of malodorous condensation INSIDE the lid itself which can be very difficult to clean.It comes with a roll of plastic bags, which imo are fairly useless for this application. You can’t compost the bag or throw in the greenwaste, and reusing the bag would be nasty, so you’re just generating plastic waste for no reason. I repurposed the bags for my bathroom trash can.
