Happy to add this to my kitchen essentials, but very expensive.

After many, many years of using plastic measuring cups and spoons, and dealing with the limited variety of sizes and durability, I asked for this set as a Christmas gift as it was on for a really good deal (and I got to buy it cause I have prime ;) ). These cups and spoons do not disappoint. The are medium-heavy gauge, so they will not bend easily, without being heavy feeling or difficult to manipulate. I really like being able to use them for hot items, without the chance of melting them. I love the shape of the spoons, as the longer, slimmer shape fits nicely into all of the different varieties of packaging, jars, boxes and bottles, to easily measure the correct amount. The cups are also a great shape, as they have wide bottoms, and do not end up being top-heavy in the larger sizes. The bonus is having so many sizes, so you can measure many different items, dry or wet, and not have to wash spoons/cups in between (unless you REALLY plan badly). The smaller spoon sizes for pinch, dash, smidgeon, etc... are great for someone just learning how to bake/cook, who does not know what those measurements look like, and they are just plain fun for those of us who do know. The one thing can be slightly difficult for those of us with older eyes (who may need reading glasses) is reading the measurements, as they are stamped into the steel, but a slight twist away from the direct overhead light makes them become clear. I do prefer this, as the measurement on most plastic items are painted on and wear off easily.

It is well made, unfortunately my delivery arrived without some of the pieces, so I have to return it. Also it is now only available for twice the price. Really I just wanted the missing pieces sent but it doesn't seem straighforward to ask for that.

Wildone measuring cups and spoons are high quality. The cups are a good weight and each one came plastic wrapped individually so no scratching each other. Cups nest really well within each other, so do the spoons. Spoons came wrapped in one plastic bag with a tie wrap to keep them from moving around and scratching. The product looks just like the photos show them. I like that all of them are made out of one piece of metal each, no nooks and crannies where ingredients can get caught and not washed. Smooth brush interiors for the cups. There are no sharp edges to the cups or spoons. The spoon heads are slim,elongated and fit well into the standard size store bought spice bottles. Nice long handles on the spoons. I like that the cups have more than one measurement that is etched on the outside but you can also see the etching on the inside. For example,. the 1 cup has markings for 3/4 and 1/2 cup too. So one cup can be used for multiple measurements and or if you used your 3/4 cup and it's dirty now, and you need 3/4 cup of another ingredient, you can pull out the 1 cup to use it as a 3/4 measuring cup. So versatile. I have bought other SS measuring cups and spoons here but I have to say these are very good quality. They will last for years. Very sturdy and well made. The cups and spoons are held together by a D ring. The smidgen set is held together by metal link chain.
