I believe this to be the best wax out there. I’ve been using this now for about eight years. It lasts through just about everything here in Northeast Ohio, I only have to use that one time and that’s usually in May or June. Through the rest of the year it beads up amazingly when there is rain, I could take it through car washes during the winter months and it is still lasting. It’s the only thing that I will truly use on any of my cars. It goes on very easily and comes off without leaving any type of haze on your paint. I do know that after no use for awhile it gets a little clumpy on the inside, the remedy is just to soak the bottle in hot water. Let it stay in there a couple minutes. It does loosen up the wax and shake the bottle and it’s good to go.

Wax goes on and off easily. Does not leave residue on plastics or rubber. Excellent shine, better or as good as anything I've tried, but a vast majority of wax products will improve shine, especially if you clay and polish prior. Smell is pleasant. It takes very little to complete a large car so the bottle should last years even owning multiple vehicles. I've been detailing my cars for 45 years and I would have to say this is now my new favorite wax, and I've tried dozens of big name, high quality, highly rated waxes. I can't comment on longevity claims of 6-9 months at this point. I've read it is recommend to warm the bottle before use (I placed the bottle in warm water for 5 minutes). You don't have to, but it does make it easier to squeeze the wax out. This may be an issue for some, but the thickness is what allows the product to be applied so easily and evenly. Good cross between a liquid and paste.

We bought this because we bought a new truck and several people had recommended it to protect the paint. The product was very easy to apply and polished off very well and left a nice shine. It worked so well on our new truck we used it on our camper. We would recommend. Also, a little goes a long way.

Now this is a fantastic product. I used it on my 2008 crv that's been cooking under the hot florida sun and I love the way it goes on, wipes off and the shine is incredible as well as the smoothness. It also goes a very long way I've only used a small fraction of the fuul bottle content. Ofcourse I had to first buff and polish the surface before applying the wax but wow what a difference.

It's easy to apply, long lasting. Beading is superior and lasts long. I like that it's no frills and down to business - no coloring and no added fragrance.

I haven't used a liquid car wax for a very long time. I'm not a professional detailer, but I do go above and beyond the average car owner, you can say it's a hobby for me. Picked up a lot of knowledge over the years through trail/error, along with tips from friends in the auto body business. I don't do very many reviews but felt I knew enough about detailing it might help others out in using or a purchasing decision. My son told me about Collinite 845 a couple of years ago. Read some reviews a year later and purchased my first bottle this past March. In the past 30 days I've detailed two vehicles. A 2007 Toyota Highlander (metallic blue) and a 2020 Dodge 150 crew cab pickup (white). After getting through all the prep work, hand washing, buffing etc. it was time to apply the wax. First, read the instructions you'll find a tip or two there. After reading some of the 1 & 2 Star reviews I think some of the trouble started with simple task of shaking the product. You really have to "shake" the bottle to get the product mixed up. By shaking I don't mean the up and down motion. Hold the bottle up right and in front of you, then twisting your wrist side to side (like the paint mixer at the paint store does) I know simple, but less work and you can do it for a long time that way without getting tired. If you really want to up it another notch, drop in a marble or a ball bearing. *Temperature will play lot into it also. I first started out by pouring it out onto the pad. A couple of times way too much came out. Okay I thought this is going to be a little time consuming. I looked around among my other supplies and I found a bottle that had same size cap with little flip up spout and replaced the original cap. Now I could dispense the wax in droplets then flip the spout closed and continue to apply the wax. Also each time I picked up the bottle I would shake it. The wax went on very smoothly, applying in thin layers. After allowing time for the wax to haze over (temperature will also play a part at this step too) Taking the wax off was also easy. The other thing I liked over the paste wax if you accidently get some wax on rubber moulding or black plastic parts it doesn't leave the white residue and cleans off. So Far So Good. As for the longevity we will have to wait. The Highlander is garaged the Dodge is not so it will be a good test. I think 5 to 6 months is fair time frame (thats what I have gotten out of my paste waxes).

First time using Collinite! I must say I LOVE how this stuff applied, NICE enjoyable experience for folks who like the waxing by hand experience. 45+ years of polishing and waxing I still find it a, enjoyable experience and this #845 whent on so very well! Reading reviews it was suggested the bottle may need to be warm ( No issue, I live in the South and my Garage is hot in the summer so garage temp was perfect, not wax chunks or anything, was well blended. It was also suggested I apply a very thin coat, that was easy to do. I did it by hand, got the foam applicator soaking wet with the #845 and that foam pad went a very long way applying a thin coat to my vivid black Harley. I did proper prep my paint and in return applying this wax / sealant was a great experience! Time will tell how the wax holds up my my Harley is a garage queen when im not riding but I do believe the HOT summer heat and black paint pushed my last Carnauba product beyond its melting point, its siggested this product may be a bit more robust for my situation. Time will tell. I will say my back paint looks fantastic and chrome too! Do be carful as when its warm this liquid is thin, I dropped the bottle with the top off and the liquid flows out FAST! So far I'm VERY Impressed!

Small local company out of Utica NY. Close to where I grew up. This wax is amazing! Easy application with my rotary and easy off. Makes nice beads after it rains. Better than Chemical Guys and Adam’s products I’ve used in the past. For the price it’s a damn steal!

Uso Collinite 845 Insulator Wax da tempo e posso dire che è una di quelle cere che non passano mai di moda, anzi: più passa il tempo, più capisci perché è diventata storica. La durata è eccezionale: resiste bene a pioggia, sporco e lavaggi, cosa non scontata per una cera che mantiene un’anima così tradizionale. La protezione è reale, non solo estetica. Va scaldata un po’ prima dell’uso (basta acqua calda), ma una volta liquida si stende facilmente e si rimuove senza fatica. Ne basta pochissima: una bottiglia dura una vita.

Brilliant product. I had tried autogylm, meguiars. However this was the easiest to apply and got a mirror like finish. Tip. Pre Soak the bottle in hot water and shake well.

A classic wax for classic cars. Great shine and the water beads off as it should.

Personnellement je fais baigner le tube de cire dans un bac d'eau chaude pour réduire la solidification du produit se trouvant à l'intérieur. Je secoue en vérifiant que le produit soit suffisamment liquide et j'attaque l'étalage. Je laisse poser 5 minutes et je passe une microfibre de qualité pour retirer l'excédent. Pas besoin de beaucoup de quantité pour une voiture de catégorie 3 type C4 2015. . A renouveler dans 3 mois. Livraison impeccable.

This is by far the very best wax that I have come across in the last 20 years. This has left my cars looking the very best that they can look. The water simply beads off the cars. The amount of protection that this gives more than makes up for the cost of the product. A truly wonder product. First and foremost you must do this on a warm (certainly not a cold|) day. The bodywork must NOT be cold. Make sure that the Collinite is warm as well. Hold the bottle of wax on your hands and roll it between your hands to make sure that it is warm. Shake the bottle vigorously to mix all the wax into the fluid.Open the bottle and if you see any wax around the top of the bottle, close the bottle and shake until it has been mixed into the fluid. Once you are happy that the wax has been mixed fully into the fluid, then pour a SMALL amount onto a microfibre cloth. Gently rub this onto the paintwork. I use a clockwise then anti clockwise motion. Cover one panel at a time. When the Collinite starts to go hazy then use a microfibre cloth to polish the panel. Then I use a completely clean microfibre to give it a final polish. You only need a small amount of Collinite at a time. If you want then repeat the process and give the car two coats or more. I keep a small micro fibre cloth only for the Collinite, this has become impregnated with the Collinite and so I use even less now. After applying a few times the Collinite builds up on the car. Cleaning becomes easier as the dirt simply hoses off. now I simply hose the car, dry it and put Collinite on a few panels. Then the next time it put it onto some off the other panels. It is so much quicker and easier to clean the cars now. Over a period of time the panel get more and more protection and the look gets better and better. As I have said before for the best results use on a warm day and make sure the Collinite is warm as well, and shake the Collinite well to mix in the wax. Do this and you will impress your self with the results. I hope this helps with your choice.
