Solid, Easy to Mount, Durable, Sweet
This is a very solid mount and cable combo. The package came with all allen wrenches necessary to 1) secure the mount to the trunk lid, 2) adjust the vertical rotation of the base, and 3) adjust the horizontal swivel of the base (where 2 and 3 in combo let me get perfect vertical alignment). The cable was very long and not so tightly coiled as to create "memory" in the cable that had to be relaxed when mounting. Nice touch with the metal cap to cover the leads when the antenna is off (which I do often enough to be grateful for it) and it has some squared grip areas to make that easier in cold/wet. Reception has been exceptional - so in addition to sturdy, it is highly effective. Overall, I'm quite happy with the unit!!

Super Strong Magnet, Good Signal, Good Build Quality.
Super Strong Magnet. I've tried a couple different models and brands for trunk mounted antennas, and this one was by far the strongest magnet. The built quality, rubber, cabling, magnet are all excellent. If your looking for an easy way to add an antenna, or something temporary this is a good selection.

Nice mount, but you may have to remove the anti scratch cover to get it to really stick
UPDATE 2023-11-05 - Determined that the magnet is just fine. It's the anti scratch cover that was the problem. After removing that (and saving, just in case) the mount grips just fine, and made the ~200 mile trip with no issues at all. I strongly suggest to the manufacturer that the anti scratch be modified if possible so it doesn't impede the magnet strength. ***** INITIAL REVIEW 2023-11-03 - Waiting for the TB-320A antenna to show up today. It will be installed, and then it's off on a road trip for the weekend. That will be the first real test of this base. Ratings will be adjusted and the review edited as I continue testing. VALUE FOR MONEY: 5/5. To get a decent looking mag mount base for this price is something that hasn't really happened for me since the heyday of Radio Shack in the 80s and 90s. (Pay attention - you'll hear Radio Shack come up again in a bit.) DURABILITY: 3/5. I haven't road and load tested the base yet, score will be adjusted after I've done so. STURDINESS: 3/5. I haven't road and load tested the base yet, score will be adjusted after I've done so. My first impression of just the base alone is that it looks nice, it's a decent price, and it should work nicely...but I have one specific concern already, and that's the strength of the magnet itself. Compared to my now almost-ancient Radio Shack dual-band mobile mag mount antenna, the magnet strength seems noticeably weaker, far more so than could be accounted for due to just size difference. Once the Radio Shack base is stuck, it's STUCK, regardless of the car surface condition, and it won't move without at least some effort. This base, though, seems far too easy to move around just by hand, even without an antenna attached. I'm hoping that perhaps it's just my initial placement or that it was the car surface which was causing it - I've moved it to a better location that I wiped down and dried prior to attaching, so we'll see how that works out. I will probably be getting a ground plane attachment to test as well, as a comparison to using just the base itself. Stay tuned. ๐

For anyone that had the old Radio Shack Scanner Antenna, this is the best replacement
I had the old trusty Radio Shack Scanner Antenna, if you've been around long enough, you know the one. Actually, I had about 5 of them over the years, between my father and I. We would piece them together over the years, as we kept them on our vehicles, and constantly getting pinched in door jams and trunks would fray the wires over time. Honestly I got pretty good at fixing the wires, but it was really time to find an alternative. There is only so much wire you can cut off and splice. With radio shack being long gone, I had a hard time finding one that would actually do the job, I live in a pretty rural area, and asking an antenna to get reception of upto 10 or 15 miles away seemed like a task only fit for a radio shack antenna. I finally stumbled upon this one and have been running it for several years now, the cable has held up, and the magnet has only let go a few times. I'm getting the same reception I always have, and am very impressed with the quality of the material it is made out of.

NOT Weatherproof + Relatively weak magnet.
I am shocked at the shoddy design of this mount. The magnet is surprisingly WEAK for the size of the magnet mount, It certainly wouldn't be able to hold my COMET CA-2X4SRNMO at highway speeds. Instead I was using it for a Midland GMRS Ghost antenna, which worked perfectly. After using the Nagoya mount for a few months, I noticed the metal screws by the cable strain relief on the base of the mount rusted. So, not happy with the mount to begin with, I decided to disassemble the rest of the mag mount. Not surprisingly, I found rust throughout the metal interior frame holding the NMO mount connector, and the Coax inside had been breached with water as well. IF you want a GOOD NMO Mag mount, the TRAM 1267R 5 ยฝ Magnet NMO is a BEAST, It grips like you wouldn't believe, and much lower profile as well, you won't be disapointed in it. Shame on you NAGOYA, what a major disapointment. I hope this honest review helps someone. 73 de WW1ZRD

Works Great
I originally looked at a magnetic mount for this antenna, but was dissatisfied due to the excessive height. Then I found this lip mount and it is perfect. The mount slips over the edge of the door panel (and could be used on other similar panels) and adjusts in two directions to allow the antenna to point straight up. It comes with a couple of allen wrenches (a small one for the edge mount and a larger one for the antenna direction). Make sure you tighten down the antenna adjustments very tight. The cable and connector are well made and attached. Plenty of cable was included to allow position of the radio where convenient. I have had consistently good signal reports while using the antenna on this mount.

Very nice unit. Loss is at normal level for vhf/uhf. Would be nice if they use lower loss cable. Yes, make the coax thicker but I could live that.

Like. Is easy to apply.

Great mount for the middle on my van. With a strong magnet it should stay put.

Well built . Sturdy mount and components.. Only complaint is that there is not enough fastening surface for the unit to attach. Only about 1/4" of holding surface and the gap to fit the panel in is quite narrow.

Fit easily on the tailgate of our SUV, has stayed in place for months even when driving long distances along dirt and gravel roads, and provides a good signal ground with a UHF antenna. Cable was long enough to go below the seats and mats to the radio with two or three feet to spare.
