i opened as soon as i got it. my store quit carrying organic sauerkraut so online to find a new one. ordered this and opened for tasting as soon as i pulled from box. shipped in well wrapped boxes it survived the post office. jar was packed tight with kraut. very little juice but enough to keep moist. crisp crunch to cabbage as it should be. Tasted almost as good as my dads home made kraut. brought back sweet memories. made my dinner plans disappear as i forked it straight from jar to my mouth. I WIIL BUY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

Nice and crunchy
I was looking for a good source of probiotics for healthy gut biome. Nice and crunchy, not mushy. The taste was very good, although it was unclear whether the product was actually fermented or simply pickled in existing lactic acid. I trust the Eden brand generally for quality organic goods, but I would like to know whether the culture is live.

Lids not sealed
Not sealed when I got it! Can’t return! That sucks! I bought two jars of and the seals were broken on both of them. Not a good deal for me 😢 I’ve bought it before, it tastes great! But I can’t keep buying it, if they aren’t going to start taping the lids on and packaging it better. 🤷🏼♀️

This is REALLY good sauerkraut! A good scissors will help you to remove the packaging materials!
Nicely packaged!!! The packaging is extraordinary to prevent the glass jars from breaking during shipment and handling. Be patient and you will "get the hang" of removing the packaging! Having a good scissors close by will help! :) This is REALLY good sauerkraut!!!

So good!
Taste really good, not overly sour. It is super healthy and since it is organic, we don't have to worry about pesticides or chemicals. The bottle is pretty big so it will last quite a while. Worth the money.

インドネシアのテンペイという大豆を発酵させて固めた匂いのしない納豆のようなものを油で揚げて、 それと一緒にこのサワークラウトを煮るととても美味しい。
