Overall the product serves its purpose well, but the hood loops are so flimsy and thin they slide through the fender/hood gap easily and the carabiners/rope are too thin to hold anything with any kind of weight. The roof pads and cam latches are great, but you’re definitely going to have to buy different hood loops and thicker rope to secure the bow and stern of your canoe, kayak, etc.

It does the job, but I wouldn’t recommend a product that uses straps to haul items on top of your car. Get a real roof rack that’s made specifically for your car model

These suck! Straps are cheaply made & don’t stay secure, instruction sheet is horribly designed with pictures so small you can’t even see any of the important details.I rarely post a negative review but this product was sooooooo bad.I know you get what you pay for but I hoped it would at least work as advertised.I wasn’t expecting a permanent solution but you’ll honestly be better off with a couple pillows & some good cam straps.

Didn't dislike the quality of the straps used to hold the pads to the top of the car or the pads themselves, but the D-clip came off its cable on its second use and the cable holding it together began fraying and fell apart.

Looks easy but is not and when you cench it down it broke. Would not buy again.

One side completely ripped off on the second time I used it.
