This brush is wonderful! I have coarse, 4a African American hair, and this brush made blow drying my hair so much easier than using a paddle brush. The amount of tension is perfect. I was worried about the flexible bristles, but they’re effective and gentle. They even feel like a little scalp massage. The brush retains a good amount of heat, but not enough to burn my skin. Blow drying went very, very quickly. The extra long barrel is the best part. I can grab more hair at a time without tangling my hair. It helped smooth my hair so much that I didn’t have to use high heat with the blow dryer or flat iron after. My hair doesn’t smell burnt. I’m in love with this thing.

My experience with this brush (hair type is a soft wave 2a-2b, ribcage length, currently bleached/dyed, super fine and breaks easily): The bristles of this brush were much coarser/thicker/rougher than I expected, which initially worried me because my hair is prone to breakage. But the bristles work great. My hair doesn’t slip out of the brush like it does with regular brushes. This brush is extraordinarily lightweight, which shocked me based on how it looks and the fact that the barrel is ceramic. The barrel is long, so I can dry larger sections at a time. I like the “pick” style attachment at the end of the brush for cleaner sectioning so that I’m less likely have the dreaded round brush tangle. The ceramic heats up the longer you use it with a blow dryer, so don’t grab it by the barrel after using high heat. Personally, I haven’t noticed it get hot enough for touching it to be an issue, but I also wait til my hair is mostly dry to start a blow out. With the ceramic brush and heat, my hair becomes super smooth and shiny. Now people think I recently dyed my hair or had it redone after I blow dry it. Even with all the blow drying hacks in the world, my hair would previously turn out frizzy before using this round brush. (I do use a lots of heat protectant because of the ceramic’s heat conduction). I like this brush enough that I might buy a smaller version to tame my insanely strong cowlick. Using this brush with high heat and gel can banish it for about 90 min, so I bet the smaller brush would grip the baby hairs more effectively and then I could get it to last longer. If you have a normal cowlick though, this brush should be enough to tame it and get the hair going the direction you want.

I love this brush. It’s extra wide so it holds lots of hair and my blow-out time is much shorter. It also makes my hair smooth and shiny. I also love how comfortable the bristles are against my scalp. It’s a little pricey, but I am happy with my purchase and would recommend.

This is an excellent brush. I have very long straight hair and this does actually cut down the time to dry. It also smooths very well. The bristles are not hard and short enough to glide easily through my hair. I was skeptical because it is pricey but absolutely worth it.

Great brush, just too large for my needs

Using this brush when blowing my hair dry works wonders, no little flyaways. I do finish it off with my straightener but I wouldn’t really have to. It makes my hair look very shiny.

Absolutely love this brush. It works the best for my hair type which I have thicker hair and it is very soft. I love the fact that I can use it to blow dry my hair and it helps to dry my hair so quick so easy the handle of the brush fits in my hands so comfortably it’s unreal and even when I hit a spot that is not it it seems to glide through fairly easy. It helps to get those nuts out in no time very sturdy does it appear like it’s going to snap when I hit those knots and when I’m blow drying my hair and depending on which way I’m using it if it’s over if it’s under, it helps my hair to train to cut a curl out that way to give myself different styles of hair and helps to give my root surfaces body so it doesn’t look like my hair is flat

This was amazing. I got a recommendation for this brush from @shir1eygallery on TikTok. Ive always wanted to be able to do a salon blow out on my 3a curly hair but the brush always would get stuck, with this brush it just glides through easily. I bought a smaller brush at the same time from another brand and it got stuck in my hair. I ordered the 3 1/2 65 & this is how the hair turned out.
