Amazing Product Not only for Beginners
This Squier is fantastic for the price. I've played other stratocasters within the same price range and this one is better by miles. The finish on the body and the neck is very well done. Action came in a good place, just needed a bit of a adjustment, which can be done with the wrench included. Fretboard needs a bit of using (has that new fret sandy feeling), which usually is taken care by playing the guitar. Great value for the price, and also a great platform for projects.

As a newbie, STEER CLEAR! DO NOT BUY!
I received this guitar as a Christmas gift in 2023. That being said, I've only had it for a few months. I have no experience playing guitar, but I've always wanted to learn so I asked for this model for Christmas since it had good reviews (at the time of purchase). Unfortunately, I missed the return window so now I don't really have a choice in selecting another guitar. Out of the box, I was ecstatic! My first guitar! I could finally start learning how to play! Man, that happiness left quickly. After watching a few videos on it, I may have been one of the few people to receive a 'bad model' of this guitar, so take this review as you'd like to. When I finally got this thing in my hands for the first time, I IMMEDIATELY started noticing issues. I noticed the frets stuck out on the neck (no worries, somewhat easy fix with a file), the string action was incredibly low (obnoxious fret buzz on the low E and A string), the truss bar was poorly adjusted, there was no oil on the fretboard, the jack plugin was loose, and the tuners were HORRIBLE. At the time, I had no idea how to fix or adjust ANY of these things since I was a new player. I immediately took it to a guitar shop and for ~$40, they changed the strings, adjusted the truss bar, and oiled it for me. Within the next two months, I began acquiring quite a lot of knowledge about guitars through countless YouTube videos and talks with my friends who play. Although there were many problems with the guitar, the issues were somewhat easy to tackle for a beginner. In the process of dealing with these issues, I learned so many new things about how guitars worked and functioned so it was beneficial to me. I'm definitely glad this was a learning experience! In hindsight, I wish I would've returned this and gone with a Squier telecaster, but as the return window is closed, I will stick with what I have. I plan on keeping this guitar around for a while as it's my first, so I'm definitely going to put money and more work into it to make it into a better guitar. After a few weeks of working on it, it plays pretty nicely now! My only complaints now are regarding the cheap tuners and the slightest bit of feedback when plugged into an amp. The tuners should be a somewhat easy upgrade, but I'm not sure in the slightest what to do about the little bit of buzzing coming from the amp. If you are new, I would honestly stay away from this guitar unless you want to try your luck at getting a better model than I did. I would check out SweetWater if you're able to! I'm pretty sure they actually check out the guitar and make sure it's good before sending it to you as well! Good luck, and happy playing :)

Cheap, worthless Guitar. Don’t buy this
I bought this new Squier Stratocaster July 7th 2023. And on October 24th 2023, the guitar stopped working. There is no sounds coming from the amp. Fender requested to send the guitar to take it to an Authorized Service Center for repair and so I did it. I dropped my BO guitar on October 26th at Bronson Guitar Works in Scottdale, AZ one of your Authorized Service Center and they are claiming that Fender has not responded yet (today is Dec 08, 2023) with a notice to proceed to repair my guitar. They mentioned that this waiting time is very common since the repair falls under the Fender Warranty and this typically takes forever to get approved. This is unacceptable, and I would like to return this BO guitar back to you “Fender” and get my money back instead. Currently, I’m trying to work with Fender to return this guitar back to them
