They don't germinate.
Not passionate about these passion flower seeds. I wanted these to grow so badly that I ignored the over 20% bad reviews. Hoping to beat the odds, I tried several ways to plant them. Some I tried to germinate in damp paper towels with both filed seeds and un-filed seeds. I planted them in potting soil both filed and un-filed. I planted soaked and unsoaked seeds. It's been 8 weeks and not one seed has germinated. Meanwhile the other plants and herbs I planted are all thriving (Basil, Oregano, Lemon Grass, Jalapenos, Green Onions, Flax Lily, Croton Cuttings, Ginger... ).

They do sprout. Just google what to do.
I red some reviews (after purchasing) that made me nervous about these seeds not sprouting. But one review explained how to get them to sprout and a quick google gives good tips to ensure germination. I sanded the seeds a little (try to get the edges). Then I soaked the seeds in 1:100 peroxide to water to keep the water sterileish for 12 hours. The. I put the seeds in a ziplock bag with wet paper towels. After two days I am seeing the first sprout popping out. Will update soon.

Mixed Results, May Need Patience
Out of the packet I received, only 4 seeds successfully sprouted. I followed the standard planting instructions, but the germination rate was lower than expected. That said, passion flower seeds are known to be tricky germinators in general—they often have tough seed coats and can take months to break dormancy—so it's hard to say if this was a seed quality issue or just the nature of the plant. I've seen mixed feedback on this brand, with some growers reporting great success and others having similar struggles. Might be worth trying another packet or experimenting with scarification/soaking techniques if you're determined to grow these beautiful vines. The few that did sprout look healthy so far!
