The product is very well made. Sturdy and strong. Originally was planning on returning as the width is narrower than expected, but was able to utilize one with our pups chast harness until his body harness arrived. The second one we are saving for our three medium to large size pups, it fitted them well. Our GSD is a very tall and long GSD, weight on the low-normal to norma range. Thank you very much for a well-made and thought out product.

This harness sling has been a Godsend for my 11 y/o Irish Wolfhound. He started having rear leg/hip mobility problems 2+ months ago. There was a very short learning curve for him to get used to using it. At first the Velcro startled him, but he used to it. The XL size, while may support his weight, doesn't quite fit his frame nor sit where it should (as in the picture), but nonetheless, it works getting him up/down the stairs and on uneven surfaces. It has to be removed for him to urinate, but this is not a problem for him.

Product seems well made. Good quality materials. Fits a little on the smaller side. Much dog is a 102 lb American Bulldog and this is very snug (size XL). Only improvement I’d recommend is a chest strap. I find on the first few walks in the yard that the sling slides all the way back to my dog’s hips, making going to the bathroom a chore as I need to adjust or remove. I think a simple chest strap could be easily integrated to the design with little added manufacturing cost and it would increase the functionality in a way that would certainly be worth an extra $5-$7 to the consumer.

Our 4 yr old German Shepherd had to have TPLO surgery which is replacing the knee on both back legs. This has been a huge help with assisting him to get up the few stairs and walking outside so he doesn’t fall or put too much stress on the rear legs. The handles are adjustable, this is washable and very sturdy. Roscoe is a boy so it’s hard to tell when he is about to urinate so it got wet occasionally. You do need to be careful not to pull up too hard hurting them. This is for assisting them and so they do not fall. For the first month we had to keep him from walking and only could go out for eliminating. We are on week 5 and we can take him for 3 5 min walks per day in addition to the bathroom breaks for the next 3 weeks and progress from there. It has held up well for us even through washing.

This is very well-made. But it's slippery and doesn't stay put. It slides all over the place and really isn't helpful. The handles are sturdy, but there's no way to keep this sling on your dog without it slip-sliding all over the place and feet and legs getting tangled in the handles. I need something that can stay on my dog while traveling to the vet or the park. This wasn't it.

I purchased this for my 13yr old German Shepherd who has been having issues going up the stairs to bed. I have seen other mose expensive harnesses but I wanted to try this out first. IT was WONDERFUL!!! I have been sleeping downstairs on a sofa for the past 5 weeks and with the help of this, we all slept in our beds. I admit, she hated it the first few trial runs (she is a bit of a nervous pup) but with the coaxing of a treat she did it!!! I ordered an XL and it does slip a bit but we just have to overlap the strap a bit. This is a fraction of the cost of the other harness and it works like a charm. I wish I had just ordered this a few weeks ago. Thank you for making this product.

Received and looked at it was pictured but was very challenging to use. It does not stay in place, my dog is about 80lbs and is loosing the use of her back legs due to age. We have been using a towel to help her but thought it would be easier on us and more comfortable for her to buy this product. Does not work well and slides all around when you try to use it. Also the handles are too close together so for a larger dog you have no leverage to help her stand. Would not recommend. Towel works better and they do not accept returns.

I have a boxer who is about 71 pounds. I initially thought this was supposed to go around the CHEST and RIB CAGE girth, but my vet told me it is actually supposed to sling under and in front of the dog's hips. I thought this would be less secure until I tried it. So the good news is, even though I bought a size too large thinking I needed it for her Boxer-girth, it still works on my dog who has a torn ACL and hip displasia. She is able to get up with my help, and even take short walks as we prepare for her surgery. This will be a huge help after her surgery I'm sure.

If I had seen this product in a retail store I would have passed over it quickly. If the price was 20 dollars in a store I would be hesitant to buy .It is flimsy

This product is nothing like the picture. The image shown looks like the sling is padded. I was very disappointed this was not the case. I want to return this item

No good for my dog. I can’t lift her. My dog is 80 lbs.
