It Calls from the Doors is my second ‘It Calls From…’ read, and I am obsessed with these collections. This was the perfect collection to read around Halloween time, because it was spine chillingly great!I learned a whole list of authors to add to my watch list after reading these stories. Each is just as compelling as the last. Every time I went to set the collection down to do something, I’d say, “one more story.” I couldn’t stop reading.This is one talented list of authors who have come together with a heck of a collection. I really enjoyed this overall, and to ask me to pick a favorite story would be just cruel.If you’re a horror collection fan, It Calls from the Doors is one you want to check out!Thank you to R&R Book Tours for the free review copy. This was a delightfully chilling collection. I absolutely read this with the lights on, and I may have checked the outside doors were locked more than once between stories. I loved how each author took a different direction with the door theme, making for a wonderful variety of stories that horror lovers will thoroughly enjoy. Furthermore, I look forward to discovering more of each author's works. If you're looking to keep the spooky season alive year round, then you've found the perfect book.

Two sisters fight over a bedroom. A little while later there is no room or children. A door that goes nowhere. These well crafted tales take you to another possibility as to where the next door you open will take you. I received a complementary copy and left a voluntary review.

The introduction was well encapsulated by Dave Jeffrey. Some doors lead to opportunity but others lead to doom. Each story in this book portrayed different types of doors. Sadly, people who entered these doors wished they hadn't been so curious. Some of them were transported to another realm and those who came back were changed forever into creatures of darkness. This collection of stories is interesting, intriguing and terrifying.
