This high-quality Spanish-language book can be enjoyed by fluent Spanish speakers as well as those learning the language, whether at home or in a classroom. Share this timeless classic with a new generation of readers! In a great green room, tucked away in bed, is a little bunny. ""Goodnight room, goodnight moon."" And to all the familiar things in the softly lit room—to the picture of the three little bears sitting on chairs, to the clocks and his socks, to the mittens and the kittens, to everything one by one—the little bunny says goodnight. In this classic of children's literature, beloved by generations of readers and listeners, the quiet poetry of the words and the gentle, lulling illustrations combine to make a perfect book for the end of the day. Review: We loved it. - My son loved it! He has learned more Spanish words with this book. I know that some of the pages do not have color, but I think that is done on purpose. The rest of the book has great colors and the book is in great condition, as it should be. I’m not sure why some people talk bad about the colors, if they are talking about the pages that seem to be colorless on purpose then they should realize that it was done on purpose. Anyway, my book is great. Review: Great story - Everyday books in Spanish

A good translation
I've bought kids books that were much, much more difficult to read in Spanish. This keeps the reading level and the mood of the original so I like it a lot.

Goodnight Moon in Spanish
As an NY born of Dominican decent, I love reading this book to my little one. My 20 month old daughter loves this book. We have both the English and Spanish versions of the book. Often times she brings her Dad or me both books to read to her. We start with one gets tired of it mid-way and then she wants us to pick up where we left off in the other language. It doesn't really matter to her which language we start/end with. We change it up all the time. I agree with some other reviewers that the translation is not exact, but the flow is very good with the changes that were made. I especially like "la viejecita que teje muy calladita" instead of "a quiet old lady who was whispering 'hush'," especially since I knit and my daughter can relate to that. Because of this book she has begun to comfortably alternate luna/moon and star/estrella. I think it's really important for my little girl to learn both Spanish and, obviously, English and this book makes it that much easier to accomplish.

Great read before bed or naptime
I had this book as a child and it was always a great read before bed. Glad I can now share this boom with my son.

Great beginner Spanish book
I got this for my little brother to learn some Spanish and it was fun reading it to him and helping him learn a couple of the words in the book. I thought it would be a great beginner book for him and he seemed to enjoy it too.

Solid, just not as good as English version
I don't always love the illustrations on this book (which tend to run a bit small) but I do love the way it lends itself to the bedtime ritual with its rhymes and repeated good nights. That said, the Spanish version is just ok. Some of the words are not what I would use (in Mexican spanish) and it tends to choose words that are longer and harder for my toddler to say and remember. Other fun phrases (like the mommy rabbit saying "shhh!"in her chair) are completely removed and replaced with something less appropriate (such as "the little old lady sitting quietly in her chair"). Since we have both versions, we make our own translations but it's a bit disappointing.

I very good story to familiarise young children with Spanish words. My daughter is 7 and attends Spanish lessons and is able to recite the words with some prompting.

Duur.
Een echt peuterboek en niet eens geschikt voor iemand die Spaans leert zoals de beschrijving zegt. Veel geld voor wat het is. Niet gedrukt, maar geprint.
