I bought this as an additional attachment for my Eureka NEN170 because Amazon put it together with the vacuum as a package deal. It is advertised as a "universal" attachment for Eureka but it does not fit the NEN170. Luckily by chance it does fit my older canister vacuum with a little tweaking. My point of this post is to say make sure you measure first and don't just assume like I did. I like the piece and it works fine so I gave it 5 stars.

Had an old Beam one that came with the central vac. It worked great, but I lost it when we stopped giving a crap about the floor after 10 years of kids and dogs destroying it. I had the floors redone, and I need something gentle for the next 30 days while the floor fully cures. So, after wasting 2 hours looking for it, I just ordered this one. Pretty sure it's exactly the same as the one I had, only in black. The horse hair is nice and gentle on the floor, and the front bristles are a little shorter so there's a gap for dirt to go under so you're not just pushing dirt all over the floor. It works WAY better than a dyson stick vac. The suction is great. I wish it was wider, but that would negatively affect suction. If I can find a wider one that's as nice as this one then I will probably try it. Although this one is pretty fast, I did about 1700 sq ft in around 20 mins with it. Also, if you are using a central vac, one of the best things you can get is a hose sock. It's a cloth sock that goes over the whole hose so you're not scratching up walls and floors when you drag the hose around. I HIGHLY recommend getting one of these. Get one that comes with a cardboard tube to stretch it over for installation, it makes it very easy.

Fits perfectly on my old favorite cleaner. I can sit and Vacuum. At 90 that's appreciated.

Fits well and is easier on flooring but suction isn’t as strong as the original floor head.

This attachment did not fit the Eureka NEN180

it fits my vacuum, the one it came with was not sturdy. This one has no moving parts so it is strong. The suction depends on the vacuum you have. The front does not go all the way to the floor so it allows dust and larger objects to be sucked into the vacuum and the back of the brush does go all the way to the floor so nothing gets left behind.
