Nature's Miracle(R) Cat Advanced Stain and Odor Eliminator

I purchased this due to having cats, better to have on hand and not need it than need it and not have it. Well today ended up being the day I needed it. Cat was upset that my parents left for vacation and peed on the couch. It went right through the couch protector and onto the couch itself. I sprayed this on the couch and it no longer smells of cat urine. It works great but be careful about using this with anyone with lung conditions like asthma (or cats with asthma. It is more common than you think). I have moderate persistent asthma and it sent me into a flare due to its strong smell and might need a nebulizer treatment as the tightness is not going away after the use of a rescue inhaler. My lungs still hurt after using this for quite some time. I will likely use this with the windows open despite the cold weather if I need to use it again and wear a mask. But would be better to have someone else use this and have those with lung conditions out of the area for at least 30 minutes to ensure a flare doesn't take place. I did not deduct a star as cat pee is also a horrible irritant of asthma (and smells much worse than this chemical spray). Worth the price of riding a couch of pee smell.

I bought this as a last ditch effort to save our carpet and sofa. I know it says for cats, but I used it for dog pee and it’s a game changer! I’ve tried so many other products but they only seems to mask the smell, and within a day it would be smelly again. So far the pee smell isn’t back! I rescued an intact male, and while I thought I was catching him marking the house and cleaning it accordingly, lately I’ve been smelling pee. I narrowed it down to one area that would be the sofa and or carpet. I’m so happy I tried this product! I also ordered the liquid cleaner as well, will use when it comes in. Until we have him fixed he is in a belly band, and I hope to not have to keep ordering this, but in case he does pee, at least I now have an option to not have a stinky gross pee house.

Okay, here's my proof: When we bought our very old farmhouse, attached to it was an 11-by-16-foot "summer kitchen." This is a building (attached to the house only by a breezeway) that had previously been used for storage. It had walls and a roof but otherwise completely unfinished – but no drywall. Apparently, cats cats cats had lived in it... or at least used it as an outhouse. The males had sprayed every wall, females peed everywhere else. The smell of cat urine was overpowering. We bought Nature's Miracle on a recommendation from a friend, but my wife said, "That smell will never go away." I sprayed the floor and soaked the boards that lined the floor, as well as the wooden support connecting to the floor. The Smell. Was. Gone. We were amazed, and have used it ever since over the years when we needed it for one pet accident or another. (There is even a formula now for dog urine. Had to use this on our run recently.)

I have been a long time user for Rocco and Roxie's items, however it's unavailable on Amazon. I had made the switch to this however I would say it's a well rounded purchase for cleaning my cat's litterbox or when they decide to throw up on my freshly mopped floors (they do this everytime, if they don't - i KNOW something is wrong) It is very strong on the smell, like, VERY strong. I borderline hate it but I also like it at the same time??? It may be too strong for some cats but mine seem to not mind. Takes care of smells well, has a lasting (strong) fresh scent, no leakage, and works well for exactly what I need it to do for deep cleaning my cat's automatic litterbox. Also huge plus, it's half the price of Rocco and Roxie so that is a huge plus. Will be a repeat buy for me, however i don't recommend for people who are sensitive with smells.

Best stuff ever EVER! We adopted a stray kitty a couple months ago we named FrostyBear. He had a couple of pee-accidents when he first moved in until he figured out what the litterbox was for. We tried multiple products to get the stink out of the carpet -you could almost TASTE the chemical smell of those products. Gross. But this stuff? This stuff is AMAZING! The smell is the least offensive of all the products and once it dissipates, the room became odorless! It was the best money I've spent on deodorizing the lingering stinky mistakes I've ever spent! It didn't fade the color of anything it came in contact with (the carpet or the curtains I saturated with it) and the strength was powerful enough that I didn't need much to cover the area well. FrostyBear's room Freshness restored! I'm telling all my friends and family with feline fur babies about this stuff.

My cat had an accident after becoming scared and we needed something to get the smell out of our towels after the cleanup and this worked amazingly. Reviews had mentioned it had a strong smell, but I only really noticed the smell when I poured it into the washer to soak the laundry. After the wash and dry it was mild like regular detergent if rinsed adequately (i did do an extra rinse cycle, so this is why I think the smell was not as bad as some experienced). I have bought this several times since to get other stubborn smells out that resist treatment with typical deoderizers and vinegar and it has worked on cat pee to musty milk and storage box smells. I try to keep a bottle just in case now, because I wouldn't want to wait if we had another cat situation like we did the first time.

One of my cats has a habit of peeing on certain areas or items in the house when she is unhappy, and Nature’s Miracle has helped save me from having to throw things away or replace them. The red bottle formula works much better than the white bottle version when it comes to eliminating odors. That said, the scent is still extremely strong and almost unbearable, especially right after application. In one case, my cat peed on a rug in the guest bedroom. While the urine odor was completely removed and she has not peed there again, the stain itself never fully came out. If you are not sensitive to strong fragrances and mainly need odor control rather than stain removal, this product may work well for you. It is better than nothing when you need to eliminate odors quickly, but due to the intense scent and limited stain removal, I do not plan to repurchase.

I don't think there are many smells as bad as cat pee. I soaked the offending couch section with a heavy paste of baking soda and put it out on the deck while awaiting for my Miracle to show up. I was initially unhappy when the Miracle was not instantaneous. But after it dried completely on the deck)the smell of pee was gone, although there was a strong (but pleasant) aroma of the Miracle. However, that didn't last long. I would buy this again (but I hope I don't have to.)
