I’ve not been able to eat food for over 5 years without being in agony afterwards for most of the month. I started using these a couple of days ago and I am virtually pain free. The pain was so bad I would vomit and be unable to move and this has reduced this by around 80%. Thank you so much. For info I have IBS, endometriosis and adenomyosis.

Didn’t expect these to work but they do! I suffer much less pain, bloating, urgency to use the loo. Glad I purchased.

I didn't feel like this worked for me

These helped a little but not enough. I am on the personalisation stage of the low fodmap diet, I can have moderate fodmap amounts but not a lot, and I hoped these tablets would allow me to have the occasional "cheat" meal, giving me more freedom when we ate out. I started with a meal that I know upsets my stomach a little the next day due to a small amount of garlic puree. The first time I swallowed the capsules before eating. The next day I had stomach ache all day and an upset stomach, the tablets didn't seem to have any effect. Two days later I had the same meal and emptied the capsules onto my first bite of food, as I'd read of people doing in other reviews. Symptoms the following day were practically non existent, so this seemed to work better. However when I tried to increase the fodmap amounts to higher levels (I tested a high fodmap amount of onion, instead of my usual moderate amount) I had a bad stomach the next day. So for me, I think these tablets may minimize the symptoms a little but not enough to allow me to have any kind of food freedom. I won't be purchasing again and I'm sorry I wasted my money. It's a shame they don't offer a "sample" amount, it's frustrating paying for 120 tablets when they don't work.

For the last four years, we’ve been trying to figure out what has been ruining my wife’s digestion. She wouldn’t eat all day if she had to leave the house. It was destroying her mental health, causing severe anxiety and she was becoming agoraphobic. We found out it was Fructooligosaccharides in garlic and onions - which is in everything - and Fodmate has put her back on the road to normalcy. We can eat out without anny emergency bathroom stops, down from two or three stops, and she isn’t anxiety ridden about eating. This stuff is magic.

It works quite well and I just purchased my second bottle. I have MAJOR problems with onion, garlic, dairy, and beans. With this I can eat like a normal person again with little to no problems. It's done wonders for my mood and given me peace of mind. I've tried taking the capsules as they are and also opening them up and sprinkling them on my food. They seem equally effective either way. The capsule size is easy to swallow, about the size of a multivitamin. It is kind of pricey but I think it's worth it because without it I'd have such a restricted diet. Hopefully they can come up with a solution for mannitol too.

These are great, I find they work best if you use them about once or twice a week as opposed to everyday. But they make it possible to eat out without negative side effects. I also find they are less effective if you have a cocktail with dinner - might be just me but it's worth mentioning.
