Cutefun Book Nook Kit Library - DIY Miniature Booknook Kit for Adults

I had to have this book nook for my collection! I’m totally addicted to these. This set did not come with glue, but I still have tubes from other sets so no biggie. It actually only required glue a couple times. The instructions were pretty clear. They got a little confusing when doing the light cords, but I figured it out through trial and error. Set includes dust cover and clear sheets to ensure nothing gets in once completed. I love the little skeletons throughout, especially the dog! The whole thing is so detailed and has vibrant colors. Operates on 2 AAA batteries (hidden in back of display, but easily accessible) and has an easy on/off touch switch on the top of the display. I prefer these touch switches over the toggle switches. Highly recommend!!!

This is my first book nook and I thought I would need a lot of help from my husband but I underestimated myself as it turned out to be a fun and challenging set. It is a great way to work on your patience. The quality is spot on. The printing and pattern are beautiful. There's no missing pieces in my set. There are some pieces where you need to be careful as they are very delicate. I broke a few pieces but managed to glue them and make it work. Most parts fit perfectly however there are a few where you need to file them in order to fit the notch. The set does require a lot of glue and I recommend Loctite. There are some areas where you need to improvise a little in order to make the decoration stay i.e. the chest's bottom surface is not flat so it can't be glue so I had to use clear tape instead. Connecting the wire is easy. The instruction is clear for the most part. The only confusing part to me is where you put the wire on the top board. It took me 3-4 days to finish this.

This seamed a bit overwhelming at first, but when you follow the directions step by step it is easy! Pros: Everything is labeled well. The chip board is sturdy and a good quality. The colors are vibrant. The directions are easy to understand with most being illustration and short sentences. The items come away from the Lazer cut chip board easily and undamaged. The step by step progression helps to build the Book Nook without having to undo anything you've built already. The completed product fits on our book shelf perfectly. It looks great with the light on! Cons: Doesn't come with glue or batteries. One step was missing in the instructions, but I was able to figure out where that piece went. This was a fun project and I would love to build another one in the series. My husband bought a different brand for himself and asked me to put it together for him. Wow, what a huge difference between the two brands. This brand is much better!!

Japanese zen garden book nook is so cute, and great quality . Took off one star because they didn't supply the glue you needed.

If anyone likes crafts and wants to try something new or if you are a book lover and don’t mind building something cute to go on your bookshelf this is a great choice. It is not a quick project but fun and worth the end result. The pieces are all labeled and punched on a wood board that is easy to get apart. But be careful of the tiny pieces when pulling them because they can break easily. Keep in mind this one did not come with tweezers to hold small pieces or glue for the pieces that should be glued. Most pieces do interlock.

This was my first book nook but not my first mini build. I absolutely loved building it and I looks quite impressive. They are a lot of tiny pieces but luckily they provide extras of some of the most fragile pieces. I would definitely recommend it.

I was worried this kit would be too complicated for little ol me, as I'm easily frustrated when things don't fit together easily, but it was great! I made several mistakes because I rushed in head first, but they were all fixable down the line. The only thing in the booklet that made me go "what the heck do they want me to do" was the very last piece where I was supoosed to put a sheet of acetate between one item and the ceiling and I confused myself and did it backwards because I didn't understand the picture. Even that I was able to break back apart and reglue. The one thing is this set does not come with glue so I had to buy some super glue. Some sets DO come with glue, but this one didn't. I REALLY love my set and it looks AMAZING. People always are impressed and can't believe that I put it together myself. Level: Beginning - intermediate (would not recommend for young children) Time: 5-10 hours depending on speed and glue drying time. Extra materials: super Glue and batteries (for the lights) Finished result: AMAZING. Highly recommend.

I got this for my 16 yr old daughter for Christmas. She likes jigsaw puzzles and crafts and had expressed interest in a book nook. She was very excited when she saw it but seemed to hesitate to start - it looks intimidating. I told her I'd help her. I probably sat with her for 45 minutes or so till she got the feel of how it went with instructions, etc. Then it took her about 2 days, working by herself, neglecting all other responsibilities (:D) to finish the whole thing. She Loved it! I liked that it had sturdy, solid materials, a beautiful look and a dust cover. I thought it was a good value for the money and would buy it again. It does Not come with glue - we used Titebond Original Wood Glue and it did great for us. My daughter used a toothpick for spreading the glue on all the little pieces.

Great build, easy to follow instructions and a wife that was really ecstatic from the moment she got it all the way until she finished it and placed it in the bookcase.

Magnifique ! J'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à le monter. Le produit est de qualité mais les fenêtres en angles sont un peu compliquées à coller. Il faut donc un peu de pratique mais le rendu final est vraiment beau

Ich habe den Bausatz gemeinsam mit meinen beiden Töchtern zusammengebaut. Es stecken bestimmt 8 oder 10 Arbeitsstunden darin, die ich nicht bereue. Die Teile sind erstaunlich präzise mit Laser ausgeschnitten, alles passt zusammen. Wir haben UHU hart Modellbaukleber zum Verkleben benutzt, was gut funktioniert hat. Die Zauberei-Thematik hat meine Töchter sehr angesprochen, da sie Harry Potter Fans sind. Zauberbücher, Kessel, Spruchrollen und Besen - alles dabei. Beim Zauberhut war bei Lieferung aber leider ein Stück abgebrochen. Ich habe Kontakt mit dem Anbieter aufgenommen und auf meine genaue Angabe (laut beiliegender Teileliste) habe ich promt und kostenlos Ersatz bekommen. SUPER SERVICE!! Die LED-Beleuchtung ist sehr stimmungsvoll. Da unsere Variante des Book-Nooks eine Frontscheibe hat und somit der Innenraum staubfrei abgeschlossen ist, habe ich den Sensorschalter fürs Licht nach unten ausgerichtet, so dass man nicht ins Book-Nook greifen muss. Funktioniert prima. Fazit: Bastelspaß und eine stimmungsvolle Deko für die Vitrine oder das Bücherregal. Wir schalten immer wieder gerne das Licht an und schauen in die magische Miniaturwelt. Der Bausatz ist nicht ganz billig, überzeugt aber mit Design und Qualität voll und ganz.
