Lucky Tiger Liquid Cream Shave (5 Fl Oz) – Classic Men's Shaving Cream with Olive Oil & Chamomile – Soothing and Moisturizing Shave Cream for Men to Prevent Razor Burn

I have a very large collection of wet shaving supplies. Included are many of the most highly rated shave creams from the UK, Italy, Germany, Israel and the USA. Some are pricey, like the English varieties Geo F Trumper, TOOBS and Truefit & Hill. Then there’s Proraso from Italy. I’ve tried many including shave cream from India. Lucky Tiger surprisingly is the best. Then price is low and the instructions don’t even tell you to use a brush. Well I used a brush and mug, squirted a bit into the mug (another surprise, this stuff is liquidy, thin like a body lotion) and amazingly it created voluminous lather that was slick and highly protective. The scent is very mild, a bit citrus but nothing that would clash with any aftershave lotion or cologne. I have used it numerous times with a variety of vintage Schick injector razors with a number of different blades and the old Gillette Techmatic band razor. I also tried it with Schick’s knockoff of the Techmatic. Every shave was smooth and irritation free with very few nicks. This stuff is a hidden gem. Use a good badger brush and a real razor (I’m sure a double edge would also be fine) and you will have a great shaving experience.

This worked very well for me. I put a small amount, about the size of a US nickle coin, on the end of a wet badger brush and quickly worked up a nice lather on a wet face. This was enough on the brush to lather two or three passes and it was thick and slick enough for a nice shave. It washed off easily and left a pleasant mild scent that disappeared after a few minutes. A pleasant occasional variance from TOBS or Barrister & Mann,

I have been shaving for 59 years this month. I've tried every kind of razor from double edge, single edge, injector, cartridge, straight razors, of which I have 5, expensive OneBlade, and cheap throwaways. I've lived in three countries, and I tried all that they had to offer, too. I've tried every kind of shaving cream from soaps, lotions, gels, foam, those with badger hair brushes, and more. In November of last year, a friend gifted me with a Dorco 7 cartridge razor. I'm astonished that there can be seven blades, but whatever. It turned out to be the best, safest shave I've ever had. A couple of weeks ago, I found Lucky Tiger, and since I've tried everything else, I thought, why not? I bought it and it turns out to be even better. It takes only a small amount; it's a little sticky; it seems to dry too fast, and it works really well. It seems that the dry feeling is not relevant to the shave. Even after several days with the same cartridge, I get a smooth, safe, no nicks shave. If I have a complaint, it's that after I shave, my face feels cold for about an hour. For now, I'm going to stop looking. Meanwhile, I have this large collection of razors, brushes, soaps, etc. This combination of Dorco 7 and Lucky Tiger is the best I can find.

I shave at least twice a week, face and head, and I'm always looking for a better shaving product. The lucky tiger is one of the best I've found. the small bottle size would lead you to believe that you're not getting as good of a value, but its deceiving. It takes so little product to get a good lather that one bottle last me almost a year. Just take a dime size bit of the shave cream, and rub onto a wet face. Wet being the key ingredient. It's a little thick, but the water really makes it lather up. Its best used directly out of the shower. Also, if you're shaving for a long period and the leather seems to go away, just water your hand a little and rub over the face/head, and it lathers back up. In addition to value it also works great. Pleasant smell, great lubrication for the blade, very rarely do i get razor burn when using Lucky Tiger.

I typically use a brush and shaving puck but sometimes I just want a faster shave. This is a great product that gives a very good shave and is fast to apply. It comes out as a thin cream but instantly lathers up on your face. It can actually get a bit stiff towards the end of the shave so it requires your razor to be very wet. The scent is very pleasing but light... it disappears quickly. Great product.

Lucky Tiger is a neat little brand, offering good value wet shaving products featuring a citrusy, old-fashioned fragrance. I first received this shave cream as part of the Lucky Tiger gift set - I'm now stocking it in my medicine cabinet permanently. It's economical, too - I find only a quarter-sized squirt of cream shave gives me a full, rich lather for my entire face and neck. Very smooth and luxurious, it helps the blade glide across my face and lop off whiskers with no drag or discomfort. It took me awhile, but I finally found myself loving this product. It truly is awesome! Important: I wasn't blown away by this product until I used it with my shaving brush and bowl. Just a small amount and some water produced a rich and foamy, yet substantial lather that protected my face and gave me a smooth shave. Highly recommend using it with a shaving brush. I started using it with just my hands and rubbing it on my skin but it doesn't build up an effective lather that way and I found myself using more than I should. Another thing, love the smell and feel of the shave gel. It doesn't smell or feel chemically like the shaving foams/gels in the can. And its faster and less messy than the shave soaps I use. I use this with a safety razor with no issues. It's awesome, take my word for it and order it, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend using a shaving brush with it though.

This bottle will last a long time. The tiniest amount makes a lot of lather with a brush. I would say great for sensitive skin (mine) that reacts to other products.

Ist echt ein super Produkt. Man braucht keine Riesen Mengen zum Rasieren und es gibt einen angenehmen Schaum der einen auch nicht die Sicht nimmt. Man kann immer noch gut erkennen wo man noch rasieren muss oder halt nicht. Der Geruch ist sehr angenehm . Gutes Rasur Ergebnis .

smooth scent - restores the skin after shav, however i am not sure if i would buy it again. worth a try

Use this with wet shave with my Panasonic cordless shaver. Had not tried wet shaves before but now love the feel and the effectiveness of wet shave and Lucky Tiger is great to use lathered on with a brush. Leaves the face feeling clean and smooth.

Don't use it strictly as a shaving cream, but put it on in the shower to soften facial hair in preparation for a shave. Great product.
