Gotta be sure to trim all snap-off plastic nubs completely off
This robot didn't work at all at first. A LOT of troubleshooting found SEVERAL places where just a slight bit of plastic snap-off nub was creating interference preventing motion of gears. Also a couple places where some main parts of plastic pieces had to be trimmed. Once it was finally working it's not bad. Note, however, that advertising it as "powered by the sun - no batteries needed!" is quite a stretch, since it takes a number of minutes to first charge the "battery" (really it's a capacitor) with the sun, which then provides only about 20 seconds of operation. (Fortunately, it also comes with a battery operated option, which is the only really viable option).
