Food grade silicone and very strong! Works great for separate ground in skillet which is why I finally broke down and purchased this one after watching cooking shows. With all the cheap plastic meat spatula on the market that melt, and are made of unknown plastics, I have found this one is not only made of high quality food safe silicone it also is extremely sturdy. The center is metal, which means it will not flex and bend at the handle. As a disabled person who has limited wrist mobility and hand issues, these kind of meat mashers are so much easier for a consistent cooked ground meat. I’ve also used this on tofu for scrambled tofu and eggs, and mashing whole tomatoes in stews and sauces. Does not stain (so far) and has seen abusive heavy use and still looks brand new!!! Well worth the price!

I have been wanting one of these, but because I’m very frugal with the amount of utensils I allow in my kitchen I held off. For me less is better. But I did finally purchase it, and I love it because it makes breaking up the meat in a pan so very much easier. Wish I got it sooner. This brand is wonderful and the chopping edge works very well when it comes in contact with your pants. It’s made of a material that will not damage your surfaces

as it turns out, its a little big but it still works well, i have used it a good many times, i am happy to have bought it.

I like this chopper because it's larger and chops everything more quickly.

This tool has made separating meat a lot easier when cooking. It really is a tool for laziness...but it really speeds up the process of dicing fine ground meat in a cooking pan. It appears to be made of high quality silicone, I have cooked with it in very hot pans and it does not show any signs of warping or melting. It is big, I just put it in my utensil holder but between the handle and four chopping sides it takes up a bit of space. I am very happy to have it though and it gets used a couple times per week. I usually put it in the dishwasher when I'm done cooking and and it has shown no signs of wear over the better part of a year. Highly recommend.

My daughter told me about this, so I bought the same one and I absolutely love it. Before I was using spatulas to crumble up ground meat in the frying pan, but now I use this and it saves so much time and energy and makes it so much easier to crumble up meat. I have arthritis in my wrist so this helps me so much. Thank you!
