Valley Forge 6' x 1 1/4" 1-Piece Brushed Aluminum Flag Pole 6' x 1.25"

This is a good sturdy flagpole. The ball at the top is plastic, but still looks nice. The one I received had no defects.

If you are looking for a 6' or so stout solid flagpole for the side of a house or commercial building installation. This is the one you want. Pair it with the aluminum spinning flagpole hardware, and you will be set. Initially I ordered the spinning flagpole that is smaller in diameter and has plastic hardware in the middle of it which eventually will and does break from the weather. Replaced that with this Valley Forge pole, now no longer need to worry about not if but when my plastic pole would break.... Glad I purchased. Great flagpole!!

The flag pole was shipped in a plastic bag and not a box. Surprise, it arrived with a big dent in it. It is made of really thin aluminum.

So far its held to to 40 mph gusts. With a 4'×6' flag. Update 1/4/18. Same pole still up with another fresh 4x6 flag. We have had some crazy weather for us in cali. We had 65mph winds recorded at the place where this pole is up. Highly recomend!!!

Very disappointed that 6' pole is not 6'. I have purchased 2 previous ones that were supposed to all be the same and each one is different and getting cheaper. (My oldest one is actually 6'. So if you are like me trying to match an earlier on from Valley Forge it does not match the older ones. My 3rd one arrived and I was astonished that they could make it even cheaper than my second one was. The photos are not accurate because they replaced the mounts for the flag with cheap plastic ones. No more METAL hooks. (They were easier to use though) I would not trust them in strong winds and luckily for me I needed this for a flag stand in my office. The ball at the end has gotten a lot smaller too and already on day one has chrome flaking off of it. So basically you are getting a thin walled aluminum pipe for $47.00

The aluminum finish, the 1.25 in. diameter, and the gauge of this pole make this purchase well worth the money!!! Supports the flag in very windy conditions!!! Mounted it on a column on my front porch. Looks fantastic!!! Would highly recommend this item for purchase!!!

It is a lot thinner then my pole that I have but it will work. The flag sticks when the wind blows and it wraps around rather then leting the plastic grumits.
