I am relatively new to backyard, astronomy, and Astro photography. I’ve been using my iPhone 17 Pro to take images through my Gskyer AZ90600 telescope and this Barlow lands has significantly improved the quality of my images that I’ve been able to take. I mean, as soon as I picked it up, I can tell it was a high-quality premium item as it is metal and the glass for the optics lens as compared to the 3X Barlow lens that came with my telescope is all plastic and even the lens feels plastic too honestly so this is a huge upgrade. Take a look at the images and decide for yourself what I can do. I also love that has a screw in feature if you want to attach any filters to it as well to enhance images of other things as well

Not a big fan of Celestron. Still have two silver top MIJ (15,26mm) eyepieces that are keepers but my only reliable barlow is an old Cave Optical so I am giving this one a chance. The barlow matches my silver tops quite well and appears to function well so far though it gets little use since I am mostly doing DSO's Barlows add more glass and in some cases dark images depending on the focal lengths. etc. By the looks of the reviews, I could be worse off in owning a back up barlow. For the price it appears a bargain.

I have not been in to this hobby before so I don't have a lot of experience with eyepieces but I can say this has indeed increased the range on my Zhumell Z130 telescope and having the lower element able to be unscrewed and attached directly to my 25mm and 10mm eyepieces is a bonus. It was also the only way for me to be able to get in focus using my DSLR and a T-ring adapter. Screw the lower removable element to the bottom of the adapter and I can take images with my Nikon. High magnification can be a double edged sword. Yes you get zoomed in but it makes things have an apparently much faster movement through the view. Be aware of that. It also means your spotting device must be very accurate or you will have trouble finding planets and other smaller viewing items. This has given me very sharp views of Jupiter, Saturn and the moon easily enough and allowed me to get DSLR images. Thumbs up.

Amazing eye piece for the price. This is a very useful item to purchase if you are getting into astronomy as it basically doubles the amount of lenses you have in your inventory by just adding this piece on top. It is amazing quality, perfect size, and there is minimal loss in clarity for the everyday user. If you plan on getting into professional astronomy, this piece may need to be replaced in the near future, but overall it is an amazing piece!

This was a choice between the barlow lens and the $99 zoom lens by the same manufacturer. While the 8 t0 24 power zoom was very nice, I already has 6 fixed lenses from other sources. What I found is that the Barlow can take my 25x, 15x, and 10x lenses and they become 12.5x 7.5, and 5 power lenses. So, in actual use, I have 6 lenses 25x down to 5x... My scope is the Explore Scientific ED80,the low end one that sold last year for $129, which came with a 25X lens. My tripod is the Nano 3 for $119 by the same brand. This scope + tripod combination is not stable enough for the 5X use, and pretty shaky for 7.5, but both usable if you have enough patience. NOTE : Be very sure to slide the scope body up and down in the tripod clamp area ( with your Barlow and a 20X lens mounted for balance ) , until the scope stops slowly rising or falling off target. ) If like me, and an amateur who wants a terrestrial / astronomical budget setup, I recommend this approach. Once you really enjoy the hobby, sell this , not losing too much money, and buy your better ED80...the doublet or triplet version. Keep your Barlow and a couple favorite lenses...you may find the scope itself is more important than several $300 premium priced lenses !

I don’t know much about Barlow lenses myself, but this one was recommended as a beginner add-on for my son’s telescope, and he seems to really enjoy it. Being Celestron, I trust the quality, and it works well for his needs!

This is the first and only barlow I have used before as I am new to scoping, but I use this with a 9mm eyepiece with my celestron nexstar 130slt. I get really good results and can see Jupiter, its stripes, and moons gonig around it. I am buying a 6mm eyepiece as well to go with it and I hope it doesn't look clarity as I think I might be pushing the limit of the scope itself. All round very happy with this, comes in a fairly protective box/case with covers for each end.

Produit très bien fait, s'adapte parfaitement à la Celestron 22096 NexStar 102SLT. Le grossissement fonctionne parfaitement. On voit nettement mieux (grossissement et netteté). Fonctionne bien en combinaison avec le Celestron 93230 Oculaire zoom 2.5 cm / 8-24 mm.
