Thickness is very consistent.
Product works great if you want a stone surface. I ordered several different "sliced" rock sheets, removing the individual rocks and made a patterned mosaic. But it would have worked out well to lay them whole as well.

Excellent product!
Great tiles! Arrived in two shipments, but on time as promised. I hesitated buying these from a picture, but so glad I did. They’re an excellent value and look as good or better than more expensive ones in the store.
