I have purchased this several times so far and really like them - for both inside my house and inside my rv. They absorb moisture very good in my bathroom and I haven’t had any mold issues since using these. They are easy to use, have zero odors, and are mess free. Will keep buying these and can’t recommend them enough.

I always check Amazon reviews before buying, so I had to share the incredibly clever way we are using these DampRid Fragrance Free Hanging Moisture Absorbers.Instead of spending thousands of dollars on an expensive specialty "outdoor" television, we decided to buy a standard indoor 55" Hisense U8 TV and place it inside a heavy-duty, enclosed Shelter Storm hard case. However, dealing with the brutal Texas heat and crushing humidity meant that moisture buildup inside the sealed case was a major threat to the TV's electronics.To solve this, we hang one of these DampRid bags right inside the enclosure behind the TV. It works absolutely flawlessly. It aggressively pulls the heavy, humid moisture out of the air before it can damage our screen or components.The design is incredibly user-friendly because it features a clear lower section with a visible water fill line. We live in Colorado and have a basement and in the summertime. The basement smells damp if you don’t have a dehumidifier or something to capture the moisture in the air, our laundry room is at the far end of our basement and we have purchased these damp red hangers to put into the laundry room to help capture the humidity in the air. We like these so much that we are on our second group of purchase they do fill up with water what I like about them is that you can see how full the water bags are and when you need to replace them with the hook, they hang easily on a door handle or on a close rod and they’re out-of-the-way and they do exactly what they’re supposed to which is capture the humidity that’s in the air each bag during the summertime has lasted pretty much all summer obviously in Colorado. We don’t have the humidity in the winter time that we need to worry about replacing it as often.

I have been using Damprid products for years. I especially like tehhanging ones for closets and even use them under the sink. The work extremely well and are a savior for humid areas!

Works for low levels of humidity, and to keep an area dry that does not see much moisture, but not for larger areas or higher humidity. They are just bags of a salt (not table salt) that attract moisture because salt is hydroscopic. The salt then dissolves, draining the brine into the pouch below. My vehicle sunroof leaked and with more storms on the horizon I covered the vehicle and placed one of these inside. It took a week to fill and the vehicle still feels like a swamp inside. I now have three in the car trying to increase the surface area of salt to increase the speed at which it dries the vehicle. It's sort of working. These do not work quickly, but require no power. They conceivably could be rechargeable by evaporating the water and grinding up the salt block left behind, but this is more work than most would ever be willing to do.

Brings the humidity down around 10% without leaving a fragrance. Do not leave near a washing machine or it will fill up much faster.

Great Moisture Content, Great Air Quality, Great Value For The Money

It's not bad and actually did not last longer than 60 days but that's primarily because I live in a humid or very humid environment. But it works really well the only thing or concern I would have is breathing in those chemicals.

Worked well as product, however it only lasted 35 days for me. When it says 60 days. Quite frustrated how quickly needs to be replaced.
