For home project, but I work with industrial electrical and didn't want to pay the industrial price. This cabinet is sturdy, closes securely and I am really happy with the quality. Will use again for other projects.

I saw these on Amazon, and was in the market for some additional enclosures. I use them outside, for mounting electrical and network components in a safe and dry environment. That being said, I assumed that rated for exterior mounting would mean good construction. WRONG! Upon inspection, I noted that on the inside, the sides and back are from one piece formed into a U shape. The top and bottom are spot welded on. Not continuous weld, a spot welding. Mine had maybe 5 spot welds holding one seam on. The box had been dropped or something in transit, as the corner was bent a bit, (it happens) but what I saw was the spot welds had failed and the corner was split open. Had this been a decent continuous weld, there'd be no such problem. What worries me is that since it is spot welded, to get the seam smooth on the outside it appears that the manufacturer used putty to smooth out the edges prior to painting. Also the door has a U shaped channel around the edges (you can see this in the product picture). Issue is, this will simply collect water. I drilled two weep holes to drain it. Other boxes have an L shaped lip, and that will not collect the water. There is NO WAY this will stand the test of time if exposed outdoors. I'm very disappointed in their construction and clearly cutting corners. As for the split seam? Since it was out of return window I used silicon to seal it up. I'll be buying some other brand going forward.

The box is very well constructed. I mounted POE switches, Router and other things in it. Worked out very nice and for the price I will never use a plastic one any more.

Got the box and it had been damaged in shipping. But they got another out to me and it’s great just what I needed.

The lower hinge weld popped off in shipping. No keys included, but no problem, easily open with a flat-head screwdriver.

Excellent cabinet and competitive price. Has continuous seal with removable bottom plate.

Installed indoors a year ago. Very well built with a weather seal and a good door lock. Very good value for the price. Would buy again.

1.- la quería instalar yo misma pero es muy Pesada, entonces recomiendo ayuda si la quieren montar en un lugar alto. 2.- es aprueba de agua y me gustó que tiene su chapa para cerrarla y que nadie pueda tener acceso a los enchufes de electricidad. 3.- se nota que los materiales son de calidad y resistentes porque están bien pintados, están rígidos y en sí está bien hecha la cajita. La recomiendo 😀
