Great for attaching to 2”x4” legs. Looked extensively for heavy duty casters that had a mounting plate for this size table legs .(Most heavy duty casters have a mounting plate that is too big for this setup.) Assembled easy. The included screws are questionable, so we opted to use deck screws (2” long on the baseplate, 1.25” on the side mount plate). Rolls easily and fairly smooth. Locking mechanism works fine. We do question how long this part will function, but works good as of now. Price point, a bit steep. However, this was a difficult-to-find caster that we needed, so we paid. (For reference: the table above is 4’ wide, 2’ deep and 36” tall w/o casters, 40” tall with casters. We needed a taller table due to the type of woodworking we do.)

These are definitely heavy duty castors. I mounted them on a steel cart that holds a 450 pound lathe and another 200 pounds in tooling. Fully loaded they roll around effortlessly. I had tried others that were rated similarly but the weight bent the metal wheel mounts. The metal brackets on these castors are heavy duty and made thicker to handle the weight. My only "complaint" is that the supplied mounting screws should not really be used, unless you are mounting these to wood, and even then you should pre-drill the holes and wax these screws before installing. Also, the screws are #3 phillips and the supplied mini screwdriver is a #1 phillips, so basically it's useless. I ended up supplying my own hardware.

Work perfectly on 2x4 studs. I used them to make mobile shelving units and they move smoothly and lock/unlock easily.

I've bought three sets of these casters to make a large storage rack and an old particleboard cabinet in my shed easy to move around and keep the space flexible. Lining up the drill bit/bolts with the holes was sometimes a challenge but they seem to be good quality and the U-shaped bracket helped compensate for a little water damage around where I was mounting them. They seem like a good value and I expect they'll last at least as long as the items I mounted them on. I was pleased to find that both of the first two boxes contained packets of both wood screws and nuts/bolts. The third one I just opened had no screws or bolts included. Fortunately I had enough left over from the other packs to get the job done (the first project used 6 out of 8 casters so there were extras). Hopefully that's not a common problem.

Exactly what I needed to add wheels to my raised garden bed! I measured prior and it was a perfect fit for the legs, and I was able to install them fairly easily. It was such a hassle to move the bed prior to this in any way, so adding these wheels was a game changer! High quality, good construction, and the wheels feel solid and roll smoothly & easily.

Good quality. These wheels have ball bearings that make them exceptionally smooth. Have adapted and fitted them to dining chairs, several months ago. Working very well.
