Perfect devotional for parents and teens
I bought Deep Roots for my teenage son, and he absolutely loves it. It’s simple and easy enough to keep his attention, but still meaningful and deep enough that it doesn’t feel like a little kids’ book. The readings are short, the messages are solid, and the questions actually get him thinking. I also love the fact that they’re a little tear out cards for the week, my son loves keeping those with him. It’s been a great way for us to connect without overwhelming him. Highly recommend for kids, teens, or anyone who wants a devotional that’s straightforward but still impactful.

Fantastic addition to our home!!!
What a beautiful and practical book! Not to mention aesthetically gorgeous! I am so grateful for this tool that I can use with my children. It has already allowed for so many discussions and memorization of verses that would have been difficult to do otherwise! Laura has made it easy for us Mommas to do what we wished, but found it tough to do.. this is great tool and every Christian mom should have it!

Great conversation started and prompts for family's
I think this is great for family's with children of all ages. You can leave it as it is or dive deeper. The verses vary in length so some are easy or harder for different ages children. Our 5 year old looks forward to the devotion each week. It's nice to have a printout verse to focus on memorizing and we enjoy having something to think about each week. Not super in depth and very quick, but a nice guide for intentional family time.

Loving this!
I bought this devotional for my sister in law for Christmas to use with my nephews who are 4 years old and 6 years old and they absolutely love it! They remind their mom each week that there is a new devotional and they have memorized many since beginning it a few weeks ago. My sister in law loves the cards that you can punch out at the back and allows the kids to put them up around the house so they can always be reminded of them. They will randomly stop and read the cards or just randomly quote the Bible verse. She has been blown away with how into it they’ve been and how much they’re learning from it. Definitely worth the purchase for families and little ones. ❤️

If I could, I would leave 4.5 stars
The content and writing style is wonderful. This book is really a wonderful addition to our family prayer time. Each devotional ends with a discussion question and it's been great doing those with my kids. I would buy this book again. I love that the author even includes a bible verse card for each week! My only gripe which led me to deduct a half star is that the scripture cards are done in one of those trendy scripty fonts that are not really easy for kids to read. Beautiful but not the most functional when it comes to kids, many of whom do not know cursive. Since this is a family devotional which keeps kids in mind, it would be nice if future prints could modify that.

Beautiful & deeply rooted in God’s Word
This is one of the most beautiful devotional I own. From their art/ creativity to the depth of God’s Word. It truly makes you love your time with the Lord as you get to you Him with your family. Thankful to Abba Father for the author and her family. This devotional is truly a Blessing!
