Does not work for 2002 Expedition
Unlike the listing states and the Amazon “this part fits your vehicle” verification, this part does NOT fit either the high or low a/c ports in the 2002 Ford Expedition XLT 4.6 engine. The threaded part is just a tad larger than the port so it does not screw and neither of the switches click onto it.I came about this item when I searched for “high side pressure switch” for the a/c line, so not sure if I ordered the wrong thing or got the wrong thing. Either way it is getting returned.Can’t say anything about its functionality so I’m giving it two stars based on the fact that the listing is misleading as far as compatibility and now I have to wait a few more days to get the right part.

You don't always get what you expect
Did some A/C work on my car and decided to install a new Condenser (as the fins on the old one were flattened for a good part of the face of it), the Orifice Tube and a new Receiver/Dryer/Accumulator.The Low Pressure SWITCH is screwed on top of the Receiver/Dryer/Accumulator, between the tow lines. That design does not make it easy to remove and replace when the Receiver/Dryer is already installed (against the right side of the firewall), so it makes more sens to install the Switch while you have the Receiver/Dryer in your hand.After all the components were installed and the lines secured, the system passed the vacuum test and the leak test performed by the A/C machine. Once it started to load the refrigerant, I heard a hissing noise that it was getting more obvious as more refrigerant was pumped in the system and the pressure was getting higher. Found out that the new Sensor was leaking at the joint between the plastic and the aluminum parts of the body. Had to replace it with the old Switch to finish the A/C job (deh, not always the new parts are better than the old ones; sometimes you end up with a piece of junk).Later on I ended up removing some of the refrigerant and replace it with the content of a can of the ZeroR Sub-Zero synthetic a Refrigerant (that I had previous experience with).Turns out that many shops nowadays buy the 20 Lbs cylinders filled with cheap, Chinese imported (junk) refrigerant, that does not have all the ingredients needed to make for an effective Air Conditioning system on your vehicle. By adding the above Sub-Zero refrigerant made quite a difference and the air coming through the vents has that kind of crisp chill that you expect it.
