Good quality, sized true, protects well
After spending a day welding without a full set of protective gear, I decided that I really needed the jacket. I am quite pleased with this jacket. It fits well, with big-enough sizing to get a warm sweatshirt underneath. The quality seems excellent, and it does stop both UV rays and flying slag from burning your skin. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. The one downside I've experienced is that the jacket is black. That means it isn't a great choice if you have to work under a bright sun. The other things I've noticed is that it shows dust and shop dirt pretty easily.

Well, made not hot. I like leather.
Very happy with the quality I’m running gas metal arc Welding MIG, even with flame protection spray my shirts were getting little burn holes. These shirts are nice lightweight, better than leather seem to be as protective as leather recommend

If you want this jacket, order from this vendor!
I ordered this jacket from another vendor on July 5, 2025. Still hasn't showed up. Ordered from this vendor last week and arrived today! Now I can weld without worrying about catching fire! It fits perfectly and looks as good as my other dress shirts. I might even wear it to dinner! I was going yo say something but I'll bring it up with Amazon. Has nothing to do with this vendor.

Does the job for light welding and grinding
I’ve had a couple of lightweight fire retardant garments for use welding on small jobs (auto mechanic) They all work within reason, but this one is a little better. My other stuff will get little holes in it from the slag, or get melted a bit. So far this jacket just has small bits of discoloration and nothing has burned thru. Light weight and comfortable. I don’t think it’s suitable for heavy duty overhead welding or anything, but for the occasional exhaust pipe this is great.

El producto me ha funcionado muy bien, el algodón es de excelente calidad el calor al momento de soldar se siente muy poco y es comanda la prenda en el huso diario en el trabajo, recomendable para un trabajo semi profecional y profecional para industrial es preferible la carnaza.

Great choice!
Very pleased with the choice that I've made. Is really light weight, looks durable, fits great and it looks nice too. I really recommend it, especially with the welding sleeves from Lincoln to get even more use out of it.

Good purchase. Fits very well ( size M) . Didn't had direct fire on it ( yet) to see how well it holds but it is very comfy and looks professional. Helps during warm days and is lightweight.
