TRANSTAR4613 Black, 2-in-1 Primer, 15 oz

Covers great, sands beautifully, and dries quickly. However, it does go quickly and the nozzles tend to clog easily. I suggest ordering additional nozzles to have if needed. Nothing worse than throwing away 1/3 of can that costs $20.It's the only product I use.

The black primer is especially useful for bumper covers as the underlying plastic is always black. Using black primer won't show ghosting circles when a stone chip occurs, if the car is a dark color. However, I did find the cans throw quite a bit of spatter, some smaller and some larger droplets on the panel. It can easily be sanded down. When the black is sanded, like with 400 grit, it changes to a much lighter hue, making it easy to see where more sanded needs to occur. One can had very little spatter, the other had much more.

Professional primer in a can. This won't have adverse reactions with paint. After each use, hold the can upside down and spray untill the nozzle clears. This will should prevent clogging which one customer had complained about.
