I got this lawn edging for my parents. Their old plastic edging had started to disintegrate so they wanted to replace it. I warned them that some reviews had said that it was difficult to install but they went ahead as they liked the look of it. The edging arrived in good condition and my parents said that it was fairly straightforward and easy to install and they had no issues with it. They are both in their mid 70's and not in the best of health so couldn't understand why people had said that it was difficult to use. They said that it looks great once in place and asked me to recommend it for them. My dad said that it's easier if you peg it down as you unroll it and don't try to unroll the whole thing then peg it down.

Other reviewers mention difficult to keep it straight when laying. I unrolled the edging & rolled it up inside , left it for an hour then layed it out in the sun, stayed straight after. Cuts easily with tin snips. Pegs fell a bit brittle but none snapped yet

Took me less than 3 hours to peg this down in the lawn plant about 20 plants put down cardboard then compost and bark on top. It looks professionally done. Everyone is amazed I did it myself. Took the other reviews advice and uncurled it as I went. Excellent product would buy again.

Managed to uncurl the roll fairly easily by heating with a hair dryer. Stakes went in pretty easily and none broke which is quite something as our ground is stoney. Bent to shape of the border very well and the straight bit is not bad either.Wouln't describe the colour as grey or anthracite. It is black. I think the appearance is Ok but a little functional. But it is a lot cheaper than other products so what can you expect?

Good for curved edges but not for straight. Very hard to make it straight. The plastic nail is a bit fragile. Overall is good enough for my project

This looks really effective! We’ve got it to separate lawn from pebble area. Will make it easy strimming the lawn up against this border when it starts to grow.Was very easy to put up. The plastic pegs are quite long and I was wondering if they’d go all the way in, (if the ground is too hard I’d imagine you might have a problem knocking these plastic pegs into the ground). But the ground was ok when i completed the job. They did quite easily knock all the way in with my rubber mallet. Leaving the border very firmly in place, and looking very tidy indeed.

This lawn edging is fantastic we did a small area around stones and it was so easy to unravel and put the pegs in. I would definitely recommend this.
