Got a Second for my Daughter's Journey
We recently started to potty train our 19mo old daughter (it's slow progress), and we had one of these potty seats from a friend. I wasn't concerned so much with the design (though I do like the car theme), but the features included. First, here's a splash guard on the front. This is pretty common for most of these seats. Second, there are side handles for our daughter to hang on to when standing, sitting, and just to brace with. These aren't present on all seats and I find them pretty useful. Additionally, the basin is 2 pieces, where the seat comes off separate from the cup catch underneath. This is preference, but the cup catch is small, and is easier to wash in a sink vs some units that incorporate both into the same piece of plastic. My main reason for buying this on Amazon is to have a second identical potty seat for our home (one in her room upstairs, one downstairs when we can't make it back up in time). I didn't want to confuse our daughter with 2 different seats with different feels to them. No issues with the second unit. Actual usage has been mainly practice and sitting while reading a book so far. I'm sure it functions just fine, assuming your kid doesn't have a 1 gallon bladder capacity.

Make potty time exciting
My son absolutely loves the car-themed design of this potty seatโitโs adorable and makes potty time more exciting for him. That said, the seat runs a bit small, so we have to make sure heโs positioned just right, or it tends to leak onto the floor. Itโs also not the most comfortable for longer sits, especially when heโs trying to go #2. Still, the fun design and overall functionality make it a good pick, with a couple of caveats to keep in mind.

Race car potty
Our little guy absolutely loves the Pixar movie with the same theme as this potty. So, his incentives and theme were set. However, potty training didnโt get in full swing until he received this special, just for him potty. (He had a different potty but it just didnโt seem to be enticing enough for him.) We are sure glad we were able to find this one! He was excited to sit down and do his business while being in the driverโs seat. Bonus that it is easy to clean and kept our little guy from over shooting while he was sitting down. It is a low potty and if your little one is on the taller side, it could be slightly small. However, these arenโt used for super long. Worked wonderfully for us.

While my son likes to LOOK at it... He's happier from the seat of the Big Potty
Who wouldn't want to go potty on a racecar??? My 3 year old! While he really likes the look of this little sporty red potty, he likes it a little too much.... He doesn't want to pee or poop on it. He would MUCH rather go on the regular toilet, while staring adoringly at his little red sportscar. On a more parental note, after the few times that he did drop some poo in the pot, it was in no way easy to get out. The cute little product video fails to show how behind the times this potty is in the ease to clean department. The clean up crew has to do some real dirty work. Pee also likes to stay along the rim after it's dumped into it's neighboring potty... Yuck. NOT easy to clean WELL. Also, on several occasions when he has tried to sit down on it the little potty moves around and it's hard to land his little bum in it's proper place on the pot... BEHIND the pee shield! So picture a 2 and a half year old peeing ALL OVER THE BATHROOM after Mommy has told him all he has to do is sit down and go...and he can't stop it and is freaked out. Yeah, not so pleasant! If you've got a girl, and are ready to be a part of a very active clean up crew, this potty may be right for you. It came already all assembled and seems well constructed. My son also agrees that it is a very nice looking red car. :) Alsa, for the reasons stated above, I am just fine with letting my son adore his sporty new potty from the seat of the bigger and better regular sized toilet. In this case, bigger IS better!

Worth every penny!
We potty trained our toddler with this red race car, this very week! It has a solid base, that doesn't slip easily (tall 3 year old fits comfortably. Great for potty training, (I have degrees in psychology). It comes apart very easy for cleaning. We just dump the waste into the toilet to show baby the process, and explain how everything works to help them feel more safe about each new stage (like the eventual toilet). The lid snaps together, and apart easy, but stays together fine (functional). Great value, I would definitely recommend to other parents!; you want something fun that the child will not view toilet training as a war with parents (one of the few things toddler can control, is their bowls/urine , so it's important not to force them, and for it to be fun. Makes the process go faster, less personality issues in the future!

Dads, don't get excited just yet for the poop car!
Yes, I had the exact same thought you all did. "This is amazing, my son loves cars, he will love this!"... Yeah... um the issue is, he wants to try and drive it rather than poop in it. The mix of themes here just don't work. I'd double this one before buying, maybe keeping cars and pooping separate battles.

Good
Good for potty training. My toddler quickly accepted the concept of potty training when we introduced this potty as compared to refusing the toilet seat.
