I’ve had this hammock for almost a year now and I still love it! Very durable I’ve left it uncovered since I’ve bought it and it faded some and the wood slightly warped so normal wear from weathering. All in all still in great shape strong and a beautiful hammock! We get lots of use out of it and definitely recommend!

I ordered this for our lanai and initially we really liked it, loved the color and is very comfy, but within a month it had faded terribly from turquoise to an ugly shade of purplish blue. The wood and seams became covered in mlldew even though we took it in whenever it rained, so apparently it cannot take any kind of humidity. I was very disappointed.

Great hammock! Truly, we love it! It's attractive, comfortable, and strong. My wife and I have used it together (which just breaks the weight limit on this) and no problems. It's decent quality and we are very happy with our purchase. One negative......... it doesn't hold up well when a lawnmower blade goes over it. heh heh.... Nice hammock!One thing to add for those who have never purchased a hammock before (which was the case for us)... After we purchased this one, we also purchased a more traditional-style hammock; the kind that wraps around you like a cocoon. I wanted to compare the two... First of all, the wide-style of hammock (like this LazyDaze one I'm reviewing) is probably better suited for a traditional backyard enhancement, especially if you expect that friends or neighbors will be over and want to try it out. It's much easier to get in and out of and use generally... and it's comfortable and more attractive, to be sure, compared to a classic cocoon-style hammock...The cocoon style (in contrast) is slightly more difficult or awkward to get into (especially if two people are attempting the task) and getting out takes considerably more effort as well... That having been said, the cocoon style was (in this writer's opinion) far more comfortable and safer (once inside). With the wide style (i.e. LazyDaze), despite its ease of use, you pretty much have to stay in the middle of the hammock or you can fall out. With the cocoon style, once you're in, you're not going anywhere. You can easily swing back and forth and relax and it's great. My wife and I took a LONG afternoon nap in the cocoon style hammock and slept like a baby! It was great! Getting out had us both giggling because it was a little more complicated (hahaha).If I was going camping or just wanted to relax in ultimate comfort on a regular basis, I'd likely go for the cocoon style hammock. But for general back yard use, this wide LazyDaze hammock is perfect! We love it and we use it often enough. Even our little dog jumps up and it's funny to watch her try to keep her balance, but once she settles down she loves it.This hammock has a thin insulating fluff between the layers, which (I presume) gives a little extra comfort and protection from wind to keep your backside warm but not too warm. It's fine for general outside use in DRY weather, BUT be warned, it does soak up the water so if you have sprinklers going off daily or rain coming down, it takes a while to dry out. Even after a hot 90+ degree day, I plopped into the hammock and soaked up a ton of water into my pants and shirt that were still trapped in the hammock. Best to take it in at night in my opinion. But as for holding up under water abuse, it does fine... just know you'll need to use a towel to soak it up before getting in when wet.Totally worth the very affordable price. In fact, I'm going to buy another.... because I wasn't kidding about the lawnmower (hehehe). I did run over the hammock while mowing the lawn. It was folded up to the side so that it would be out of my way, but I guess I'm blind or something because I found it. hahaha... Anyway, it actually still works perfect, just not as pretty as it used to be. Go get one, you'll love it!

The chain for hanging the hammock was a bit short and it could have used an additional six inches to fit the base that I have. I Just added the removable chain that I had from my previous hammock. The photo shows the chain that came with the hammock wrapped around the ring. It cannot be removed unless you get a special tool to cut the chain. Overall happy with the purchase. I did not purchase the base with the hammock as I had it from a previous purchase.

This is the Lilly Pulitzer for Target Hammock that was available at Target a few years ago. It is just beautiful! It is classic Lilly Pulitzer and the colors are very vibrant. Swinging in it just makes me feel happy. Per other reviews I read, I do not leave it outside when it is not in use. It is plenty big enough for two people. It is well made with thick material and a nice large pillow. The wood and ropes look high quality. I am tempted to order a back up in case this one ever wears out!

Great discount price because mine was missing the pillow, BUT it was easy enough to make my own with left over material from another project & some batting material. The chain was a little short for the area between my tree and shed, but a trip to Lowe’s to buy a few additional leaks fixed that problem. My husband bolted them together. I’m sure on a standard hammock stand it would stretch out just fine. The color and pattern really compliment my existed umbrella and swinger cushions. I am more than pleased especially for 1/2 price!!

I do not like that rain isn’t running off of it, in fact it really is like a sponge. Looks nice but can only be used in dry environments. Once wet, it takes like forever before it dries out again

To be transparent, I haven't actually used it yet. Too cold outside right now but I have opened it and checked it out. It is nice and wide, strong contraction and good quality material. The only negative so far is the pillow. It is only half the width of the hammock and is very flat. We'll have to open it up and add some stuffing. Two of these pillows with a bit more stuffing and I would have given 5 stars.

Anybody that rags on this product is entitled.For the price this is amazing.You buy cream and it’s gonna stain.It’s comfortable.It’s sturdy.I love it and my family loves it.End of story.For the price this is amazing.Get over your spoiled selves people!

Très bon achat. Solide et efficace. Nous l’entrons à chaque fois dans le cabanon par contre pour préserver le tissu. J’avais un autre hamac similaire dans le passé d’une autre marque et je le laissais dehors mais il a taché. Donc je préserve mon achat.

This item looks good and seems well put together but once hung the strings stretch you re adjust they stretch again then see the eyeholes fray a little bit.

Such a shame I can’t use my hammock any more only lasted a week, the chain broke it should be made with a better quality chain. Considering the price.
