I purchased several of these fixtures to replace the standard builder-grade lights throughout our home, and the difference is incredible. use this Hykolity ceiling light in my home, and it works great. It’s very easy to use and install, and the adjustable color settings (from warm to daylight) are super convenient. The light is bright, dims smoothly, and turns on instantly. It feels durable and reliable with a long lifespan. Best of all, it’s completely silent—no buzzing at all. Great quality for the price!

I had a tough time deciding between fixtures. One of the issues is that a lot of fixtures have built-in controllers that preclude the use of an external dimmer switch. I also have had fixtures like this where the lens kept falling off and landing on the floor. Lastly, the color temperature of LED's can be less than pleasant - feels more like a surgical light than something you want in your kitchen. This fixture is *bright* but with the lens on, it diffuses very nicely. I especially liked the varying color temperatures that you can choose. It *can* go full on sunlight mode, but it can also be set for a nice warm candle-like color. I probably would have preferred the "3" setting, but my husband likes the "2" setting - it's nice that you can buy one fixture and then decide which color suits you - rather than getting stuck with one color that you can't change. It dims without flickering to the point where you can barely see it - just a slight glow. The only criticism that I would have is that when it dims, it dims into a grey-ish light, which is my biggest criticism of LED's in general. I wish that light manufacturers would add programming that would cause more red color as you dim, the way an incandescent light dims - the sunset effect as they call it. I replaced 4 lights in my kitchen and living room with the 32 inch oval, and I can't believe all the light in the space - it feels very bright and even - now I can see all the clutter and dust :-)

I purchased this fixture after one from a different seller nearly caught my home on fire when the capacitor exploded. I waited months to repurchase after speaking to an electrician who said cheap componets are dangerous then couldnt tell me how to ensure i was buying something with quality componets. After all, my kids sleep in this home and i would rather deal with a dark room than put them in harms way. Finally, after much research and debating, I settled for this fixture that is UL Listed. I like how this fixture does not require replacement bulb and is still built well. The previous fixture had a plastic mounting bracket that was hardwired with a light that slid into place, it made me nervous from the start. This fixture seems much more secure and actually has screws holding everything in place. The presence of a UL listing made me much more confident in purchasing and the superior quality is noticeable for sure. Installation was a breeze and my light was working in less than five minutes! This light is a fresh change from the 80's style fixture I was originally replacing. I feel confident in the safety of this light after checking several times and nothing gets hot while it's in use, this was my main concern and im thankful to have found a product capable of providing some peace of mind after coming to terms with what could happen. Remember, cheap products = cheap componets. This light isnt the cheapest one on Amazon, but its well made and that could save your home or life. Installs easily with included hardware and gives good light adjustments. And I like the style of the fixture. Good value for the price!

The unit was well packaged and had all the necessary parts. The installation instructions were not very good, but it is a basic 2-wire light with no ground. The fit and finish are very good, and the light is bright on the 2nd-to-highest setting, perfect for a hallway. I would buy again if the need arises

It was easy to install. Comes with 3 different light intensity settings. We installed it in a basement bedroom which is normally quite dark. This fixture really brightens up the space.
