To be listed as merino wool doesn't wool have to be the highest %? this is obviously an acrylic blanket 72% poly, 3% nylon with only 25% wool.

If it were a garment for sale in The US or UK, yes. A treaty makes it illegal to identify a garment as being Merino wool if it contains too little merino fiber (62%?). The agreement was made to protect industry reputation of Merino wool. This, however, isn’t a garment. It’s a blanket so, the vendor can call it whatever they want until a customer is willing to stand up to them.

Is this blanket 100% wool?

No, 25% wool, 72% polyester and 3% nylon, but very soft, warm, comfortable, and relatively-thick. I replaced a 100% wool one, can hardly tell the difference, and actually like it better, softer and more compliant.

Is this 100% merino wool?

The label says 25% wool, 72% polyester, 3% nylon No mention of Merino wool except in product description on Amazon
