German import. It is the best coffee we have every tasted since going to Germany in 1980 while in the military. Thanks to Amazon and military commissaries, it's the only coffee we've drank for 38 years now!

You are thinking of instant coffee. This coffee requires a filter, but is best, I think, in a French Press. Delicious stuff!
