Anker 633 Magnetic Power Bank with Stand, 10,000mAh Portable Charger

I purchased 2 of these battery packs 2 years ago. One, white, which I kept for myself and the other, black, given as a gift. I used mostly with usb-c to lightning cord. The option to have the magnet was appealing in case I forgot my cord which has happened and is super annoying without that option. But with a basic phone case I’d have to remove the case to charge so I chose to use a cord 98% of the time. I appreciated being able to charge multiple items at once and while the battery pack was plugged in charging. The kickstand is a nice option, I used it sparingly. Capacity on this pack was more than sufficient to charge my phone and then some. Charging time was better than I was used to with my old battery pack. *After approximately 22/23 months of daily use, my pack would no longer hold a charge. I checked the warranty and thankfully was within the 24 months. I contacted Anker customer service and received prompt responses. They made a few suggestions, most of which I had already attempted. After replying that there was no change after attempting all suggestions they shipped a new one to me within a week. Super impressed with the response time and willingness to make it right. Tip: to reset the pack you have to use a usb-a to usb-c cord and plug both ends into the pack for a few seconds. The black battery pack purchased as a gift and I’m assuming is not used as often as I used mine, is still going strong.

Great for traveling, I keep it in my car as a portable party. So easy to have lying around. The magnetic connection works better with a case that allows the magnet to go through, otherwise take off your case Good quality and charges my phone to capacity in one sitting. It can get a little hot but it's not hot enough for me to be worried about - 5 stars! Also haven't really used the display much but I'm sure it's great.

The wireless charging feature works well but if you need every bit of power you should use a cable to charge your device. I can get about 1.5 recharges of my Pixel 10 Pro using a cable but wireless I get about 1 full charge. No surprise as I expected this to be the case, wireless charging has a lot of loss. I bought 2 of these, one worked fine right from the get go, the other must have been in storage longer as it initially would not take a full charge. A simple reset (holding the only button in for about 5-8 seconds) fixed that and has been working fine since.

It will turn itself off occasionally, and the kickstand is very difficult to lift if you don’t have good fingernails for it. It does hold a charge very well for 5000mah, which you don’t always see with wireless chargers since there is inherit loss involved. It can get somewhat warm but anker tends to manage heat well so I’m confident it’s okay. It’s thicker than a lot of other banks in this form factor, but that’s mostly because you have a physically larger battery. A thinner silicon carbon version with a better kickstand would be a perfect product, but overall a useful addition to my EDC.

The Anker 633 Magnetic Battery is a reliable and highly convenient solution for staying powered up when a wall outlet isn't an option. I’m going to just say this up front: This has so much value and is a really compact 10,000 mAH portable battery that does so many things! And you can turn it on and off!! It stays in whatever on/off state you left it in. As in once off but connected to phone, it will still be off once removed and reconnected. And if it was charging when removed, then it auto charges next time the phone is placed on it. I think that is the ideal way to handle the power on/off. I would have loved that on the 2nd gen Anker 622 of mine. So this isn’t really that much thicker than the 2nd gen Anker magnetic portable battery. I’ve included some photos for reference. It does feel thick, but not nearly as bad as I would have thought and it somehow isn’t even double the thickness of the 2nd gen pack. Other than the thickness, it isn’t significantly larger overall than the previous one. It does however sit a couple mm below the bottom of my iPhone 12 Pro. I believe this is the epitome of what a portable magnetic battery pack should be. Yes, I’m the type of person who will actually use the usb-A port as I still have various items for work that only charge via micro usb and it’s way easier to just have the port than to find a usb-c to a micro cable. On to the new product. I just charged my phone from 62-90% wirelessly in a little over an hour with the pack plugged in for the 7.5w speed. I wish this unit could charge the phone and itself while plugged in but it does not. Also I saw signs of wear in first usage at the corners from my phone’s leather case. It’s maybe a softer plastic but it really grips the phone along with what does indeed seem like an improved magnet. It resists twisting motion-more so than any mag-safe device I have held to date. The kickstand is great, it has a magnet to stay down and is spring loaded to stay open as well. The whole kickstand assembly is mounted on top of the pack, so it’s raised above the general dimensions of the unit. I really like this so far and it just blows everything else I’ve seen in this category away on feature set. It’s cheaper than the Apple pack while having so much more capacity and for me it is just the perfect one stop solution for a grab and go portable charger to take with you.

You need to charge it first. After you charge it, it’ll charge multiple devices. I have a fan a portable fan that I use. It works all day for eight hours.. I have not attempted to use it more than eight hours. I tried it at the end of every night. The magnet works well with my iPhone 17. I also have a portable fan that you can plug into the charger and it works. Like I said you can plug them both in into works for about eight hours.

I am primarily testing and using this pack with a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with a magnetic case. I have also tested it on an Apple iPhone 14 Pro. Design: This is a fairly large pack, especially to keep on your phone all of the time. If you put this on your phone and keep the phone in your pocket, you will notice that it is there. However, the added size and weight does come with added capacity, which is welcome, especially when there is loss associated with battery charging in general, and wireless charging specifically as quite inefficient. There is a metal flip out kickstand on the back of this pack which is sturdy, and much better than this pack's smaller cousin, the Anker 622. I feel comfortable using this kickstand to prop up my phone, and it is at a decent angle for viewing. There is a USB C port on the side, and a USB A port on the bottom. The USB A port does not output as much power, but it would be good for charging a watch in an emergency. The two ports, and higher capacity, actually make this a decent small pack to carry around for emergency charging, even if you don't use the magnetic feature to stick it to your phone. The ability to do that and use it as a kickstand is an added bonus. This pack will not trickle charge. That means, once your phone is at 100%, charging will stop, and the phone battery will begin to deplete. You an start charging again by pressing the button on the pack once. Additionally, if you are using this pack as a stand only and don't want it to charge, you can hold the button for a couple of seconds (the manuals says 2) and it will turn off and not charge. Unfortunately, the pack won't trickle charge like it's smaller cousin, the Anker 622 will. This is a solid pack, and due to it's size, it has more room for heat dissipation. It will get a bit warm when charging a device, but not terribly hot. But do keep in mind that heat and charging are a sure fire way to shorten battery life. You should really try to use plug in chargers whenever possible and just rely on a pack like this for emergency situations. This pack sticks to the back of your (Magsafe quipped phone) or back of your magnetic compatible case. It seems to stick fairly well, better than the Anker 622, but not as good as the Apple battery pack. This pack is made to swivel so that you can use the stand and place your phone in a landscape position. This means that the pack doesn't have all of the alignment magnets that the Apple pack has to keep it aligned perfectly. It is decent, but can be slid around on the back of the phone a bit. I do feel comfortable that it won't come off though, even in a pocket. It just bothers me a bit that it can be swiveled out of perfect alignment. PROS: Good build quality, feels solid Two ports, USB C, and USB A, for charging devices with a cable Nice kickstand, works well Magnetic force is sufficient Decent capacity for emergency situations and could also charge an additional small device CONS: Will not trickle charge your phone to keep it topped at 100% A bit heavy to keep on your phone all the time, but can still throw it into a back pack if needed If pressed between the Anker 622 (small cousin) or 633 (this item), I would choose this item for emergency use. If you need to keep it on your phone all the time, this might get a bit heavy and the 622 might be a better bet. I like the larger capacity, better build quality, two output ports, and nicker kickstand. This is a decent pack just to charge up and keep in your car's glove box for emergencies. But my best advice is to plug your devices in to charge whenever possible.

Product states 10,000 mAh but I received a 5,000 mAh packed inside a 10,000 mAh box ?? Otherwise the product is flawless imo

Elegant design and perfect size that doesn’t block the camera. Solid stand, great for those who don’t use wired earphones. Battery lasts well, though charging is a bit slow. Overall, very useful and reasonably priced

Ayant testé différents produits de la marque Anker et d’autres marques pour une utilisation type batterie externe MagSafe, je reste positionné sur ce modèle (pour le moment). Recharge quasiment deux fois mon iPhone 13 mais pour les modèles au dessus comptez une seule recharge pleine voire 1,5 (en fonction de votre utilisation). La batterie ne se recharge uniquement que par USB C (câble fourni, qui n’est pas en nylon tressé donc à voir dans le temps). Vous avez la possibilité de charger 2 appareils en simultané : 1 en MagSafe et/ou par câble USB / USB C, l’autre par câble USB / USB C (considérez une batterie minimum de 10 000 pour réaliser ce type de charge, donc ce modèle répond à ce besoin). Produit fiable de bonne manufacture, attention aux rayures cependant (à ne pas mettre avec des objets métalliques comme des clés ou pièces dans votre sac / poche), les traces de doigts s’enlèvent facilement avec un tissu microfibre classique. Enfin, c’est un produit acheté en alternative à la batterie MagSafe vendue par Apple à 120€ qui n’a qu’un seul « défaut » c’est qu’il n’est pas intégré à l’écosystème Apple et donc vous ne voyez pas le niveau de batterie sur votre interface widget, mais il suffit d’appuyer sur la batterie pour le voir, donc en soit ce n’est vraiment pas dérangeant même si les niveaux sont mesurés sous formes de leds et non de %).
