Gerossi Bypass Pruning Shears for Gardening, 7" Heavy Duty Garden Clippers

I've only used them for a few days, but so far they're great. Nice & sharp, they cut through tough branches with ease.

These are the best pruning shears that I have ever used. They fit my hand and are oh so comfortable.. They have a nice locking mechanism. I can tell these have been made with care. They are built to last. This is a small family business. If you buy these, you will get a very nice thank you card with their picture on it. Very much worth the purchase.

What great pruning shears! Love that it’s a small USA business. Fits comfortably in my small hand. The safety switch is easy to use and reach with my thumb. The material on the handle is soft and feels comfortable. They are SHARP! Seems like they’ll last a long time. The thank you card from the owners was a great touch too.

Update: Seller contacted me to help make my order right, but I had already returned the item by the time I found their note. It appears good customer service is important to this seller, and I would add that as a positive reason to buy from them. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Original Summary: I had to return these shears because my hands are smaller, but they may be helpful to people with larger hands. My hand is smaller, approx. 8" from end of thumb to end of pinky finger when fingers are spread, and a tape measure is run between those two points. It was too hard to keep the shears in optimal cutting position as I tried to do multiple rapid cuts throughout a bush. I found it kept choking down (fingers headed to the blade end, but not in danger of cutting myself), and I had to stop, reposition, and try again too frequently to keep using it. Additionally, I had some trouble cutting through some dead, hardwood branches less than 3/4" thick one-handed. Pros: - This tool looks nice and feels good in the hand when compressed (good weight balance). - Workmanship is good (see one flaw below); it felt solid - The lock mechanism worked perfectly to keep the tool closed when not in use; didn't block operation when in use. Cons (rated as critical, important, or other): - Didn't work for my hand size (critical) - One of the foam-like handle cushions looked like it was in the process of sliding off, and wouldn't slide back up the handle; this was my least worrisome issue, and if it worked for me wouldn't have returned it just because of this imperfection. (other)

My husband and I both love these pruning shears! The non-slip, ergonomic handles with soft touch are very easy on the hand, making pruning much easier. They also have a compression spring that make the shears easier to use. The blades are sharp (one of the most important features), easy to operate, and also have a safety lock (also important). I'm glad I purchased these over the pricier Fiskar brand.

A very reasonable price for high quality pruning shears! These Girossi shears are even higher quality than I expected. An excellent carbon steel blade (stays sharper & holds a better edge than stainless) and cushioned handles to keep your hands from wearing out quickly. The locking mechanism is the most solid I’ve used; it’s easy to unlock, but doesn’t come undone when you DON’T want it to - almost all others are lacking in comparison. They appear to be built to last; solid workmanship built for long term use. I’ve used five different brands of pruning shears in the past year and these are the best combination of quality, function and price. And on top of it all, my order was filled FAST; I had it two days after I ordered it! I think I’ll find that the Girossi brand is worth seeking out! Thank you.

Cut very well and hold up well. I like to grab these when I have gardening work to do.
