Worked great. Been playing since the 60's. Helps when fingertips get sore after playing for several hours. You can play all the runs and chords at a good speed. Excellent value and you can also put the small rubber fingertip protectors inside the gloves for more protection. This will allow the rubber tips to glide over the strings much easier. I'm 70 and I practice for 5+ hours almost everyday. Really nice when playing acoustic guitar that has heavy guage strings. There is a more expensive brand that is more slick and thinner but you do get more gloves with this brand instead of just one glove with the other company.

I can't believe it, but they actually work. I've been having nerve issues in my fretting hand and been looking for a solution. I saw a Thai guitar virtuoso playing with this black glove on and was like "WHAT IN THE HECK IS THAT?" Had to try them. Note: In addition to trying the glove by itself, I also combined the glove with the "Gorilla Tips" sold at Guitar Center. The problem with the gorilla tips is that the rubber material doesn't slide across strings, so it ruins your technique. They also have the tendency to gradually slip off as you play, again ruining your technique. The perfect mix was to put them on and THEN put this glove on over them. The glove kept the gorilla tips in place perfectly (even after hours of playing), and allowed you to slide across strings the way you'd ordinarily play. The combination of these two items together may have literally granted me a 2nd life at guitar. THANK YOU! (As for the durability, I can't attest to that, but they are fairly affordable for a 4 pack, so I'm willing to use them even if they break once a week. They're a necessity.)

I purchased the gloves because I cut a finger on my fretting hand pretty severely, and I had a gig coming up within a few days of the injury. I used medical-grade superglue on cut, then bandaged it, then wore the glove. I was able to play with the glove. Not quite as precisely but it got me through practice for the gig and then the gig. I also found I could cut a finger of the glove off, then tape that glove-finger on — this leaving my other fingers bare but protecting the injured finger. One last thing I discovered: with product like gorrilla tips and even drugstore finger protectors, sliding on the string is impossible, however putting this glove over the rubber finger protectors made it slide on the string and made playing possible.

They were not what I was hoping for. I was looking for something along the way of compression gloves to help me play guitar. My Arthritis is terrible. Don't get me wrong, they work fine for what they are but fell a little short on compression. If you are looking for something to help with the fingertip sore, they work great for that.

These are not worth the money. The material is not fit for round wound bass strings. I wore holes in the glove for my finger chording with in one hour of practice. Total crap.
