I love this product! This is the most powerful/ most protective mouthpiece I have ever used/ could ever find. It fits great, molds great, its very protective, easy to put in, and can even be used on a keychain or wallet! Great mouth piece. Shipped in a day too. I love to keep it on my wallet just incase I get into an altercation (I like to keep my teeth). Great for boxing and mma, if not the best out there

Awesome mouthguard. Easy to mold.

Instructions were easy to follow. It molds easily and seems to have decent airflow. After a few attempts though, I have to agree with the reviews about it being too small. One review I read wrote that you just need to bite down hard, but that still didn't help me get a comfortable fit.

I can't tell you this Shock Doctor saved my mouth one time, or that it'll prevent any and all possible damage from happening to your teeth. What I can tell you is that after having extremely expensive dental work done, the Shock Doctor Adult Nano Double Fight was the least I could do to protect myself. For that it's well worth the money. The idea behind the Shock Doctor is that the memory plastic inside the lining can be shaped and will hold that shape. It creates a cushion for your teeth that's custom-fit to your mouth. They call these "boil & bite" mouthguards but really you want to use not-quite-boiling water. Follow the very well written instructions that came with it and you should be just fine. My new porcelain veneers didn't feel very comfortable in my mouth and I was worried the Shock Doctor wouldn't set right or would hurt. It set just fine, and on those rare occasions my free-sparring needs protection, the Double Fight is comfortable and protects both my upper and lower teeth while still making it fairly easy to breathe.

Even after multiple fit attempts, this did not work well and was thrown away after one use. The adult size seems very small even for an average female. While small along the teeth line, it’s somehow also bulky and uncomfortable. I’ve tried other Shock Doctor products with success but would not recommend this specific item.

I broke my jaw 6 months on the left side of my face. It took a while till I regain the strength in my jaw to where I can eat solid food. Now, I regularly go to the gym and I train with a lot of heavy sets in my routine. I have the fear of fracturing my jaw in one of my heavy sets. So I bought the mouth guard for the purpose to prevent further fractures. I personally enjoy using the guard in many of my routines (weightlifting and boxing) and it provides me the mental reassurance of my teeth are secure. They are very comfortable once it molded to the teeth and more when use them often. Depending on your jaw outline, the guard will protrude a bit but that is not problem for me. Whenever I go to the gym, I feel can accomplish heavier sets now that my teeth are protected. The value of the guard is worth it for me due to my past experience.

Don't listen to how it is small and hard to mold. The guard will be 30% bigger after putting in near to boiling water for 1 min. The guard even stays on when talking minimally, with only the upper jaw on. The key to it is to basically wash your mouth, cooling it, when you have just finished molding it but still have it on. And BITE HARD. It stays on very well without any discomforts and have great ventilation that minimally distracts normal breathing. As for protrection, I have not taken any hard shots with this on recently so we will see. But it does feel like a lot of gel and rubber, although not to the uncomfortable extent.

The mouth guard seems to be of good quality but it is extremely narrow. I ordered the child one first finding it not to fit so I then ordered the adult size. It still did not fit my molars. I am disappointed it wouldn't fit because it seems so be wonderful otherwise.

Qualitätsanmutung und Haptik sind echt gut. Auch die Anpassung ist einfach und der Mundschutz sitzt gut. ABER: steck dir vor dem kauf mal einen kompletten Socken in den Mund (Würgreiztest) und lasst ihn dort für 5 Minuten. Das reicht schon :) Warum? Der Mundschutz ist doppelt (oben+unten). Heißt: er ist groß. Ich kann einiges einstecken, aber mit diesem Teil habe ich durchgehend Würgreiz und die Ausdauer ist weg! Meine Meinung: Nicht kaufen, wenn ihr den Sockentest nicht besteht! Ansonsten: Die Qualität ist richtig gut!
