Setex Gecko Grip Thumbstick Grip Covers, PS5, Xbox, Switch, 1 Pair, Black

I have multiple Xbox controllers and Xbox Kontrolfreeks do not fit on all of them however the Setex Gecko Grips fit nicely on my entire line up from Gamesir G7 Pro, Razer Wolverine TE, Scuf Valor Pro and my personal favorite the Flydigi Vader 5S. Great feel and definitely recommend for anyone looking for the best grips on the market

Love these. I got them for my Astro Bot controller since they have white thumbsticks I didn't want them getting discolored. The color matches well and they feel very comfortable. I've had no problems with slipping and they fit nicely on the joysticks. The only minor issue is that because they're very grippy, they also get dead skin caught in them very quickly and easily. I can't stand grimy controllers so I always wash my hands before using them and even so, the thumb grips got an ashy white color from skin contact over time. However, they're fairly simple to remove and put on so you can give them a rinse now and then. Overall, they're the best thumb grips I've tried yet and have no regrets about them. Wish I'd gotten them for my Steam Deck too.

Installation was simple. Turn the grip cover inside out. Place it on the thumb stick. Turn it right aide out. Done. I chose the shorter grips, as I don't need any additional height. I am just using this on the movement stick on my Azeron keypad. The best part about them, for me, is the cushion aspect. They add a softer feel that is nice for longer gaming sessions. Are they tacky? Do they add grip/friction? I would have to say only slightly, at best. The sides and the top surfaces are different textures. Neither of which feel any great deal of grip. That being said, if you do happen to begin to sweat, I do think these grips are less affected by sweat than the bare thumb stick is. That is where the 'grip' comes into play with these covers. So, for that reason I would say that these covers do actually help with grip. For the money, I would purchase these grip covers, again. And I likely will, once they wear out. They aren't expensive, at all.

TLDR: Loose fit on 8bitdo controllers but still works well. Still grippy. Odd to clean. Durable. I used my grips on the 8bitdo Pro2 controller and the 8bitdo Ultimate bluetooth controller since around the end of 2022 and they've been solid ever since. They're a little odd to clean where scrubbing them doesn't make them look new again but I'm assuming that's because of the "gecko texturing" they have going on in the middle of them. On the 8bitdo controller sticks they do seem to be able to rotate fairly easily, probably attributed to the fact that the tops of 8bitdo's controller sticks are smaller than other companies make theirs, but they do stay on and stay centered, and they're still grippy after a long while of using them! Note: on the pro2 controller I did have to raise the stick a little bit by putting some paper inside where the shaft of the actual sensor goes into the stick that you see so the underside of the grip wouldn't catch on the surrounding area of the stick. The grips do work on the 8bitdo Ultimate controller without having to raise the stick at all.

These are very grippy! I got these for my steam deck and I'm never going back. They twist on pretty easily and don't rub on the edges when the joystick is fully pressed to a side. I've had one of them pop off before when I was grabbing my steam deck and it seems to twist around a little easier than the one on the other stick, but I don't notice any slipping while playing. The steam deck joysticks are pretty slim and they could be a little tighter IMO, but I don't notice any issues with them while I'm playing. Speaking of, gaming with these has been a huge improvement, they add a little height to the sticks so I feel like I'm more accurate, and my deck feels a little more ergonomic now too. The deck also still easily fits in the original case it came with so I keep them on all the time. They're a little pricey, but I think I will pick some more up for my playstation and switch pro controllers as well because I really love how they feel!

These grips caught my attention due to their neutral look and feel. I used them on PS5 controllers, Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers, and the Steam Deck (more on that below). After using six pairs for over six months on various controllers, they've mostly maintained their overall feel. They're comfortable and provide a good grip, but they're not entirely perfect. The "gecko-inspired gripping technology," which serves as the base of the cover, has worn down on some of them. It's not a significant difference, but it does raise questions about their long-term durability. I'll update my review if the issue worsens. Additionally, these grips tend to collect a lot of dust, so you'll need to wipe them down regularly. I'd also like to mention that at $10-12 per pair, they might be a bit overpriced, especially considering their simple design and structure compared to other brands. In terms of how well they fit on each controller, they're a perfect fit for PS5 and Pro Controllers, no doubts there. However, when it comes to the Steam Deck, the joysticks are slightly smaller, so you won't get that snug fit you experience with the other controllers. They don't slide around during joystick use, but they are loose enough to allow for some rotation. I still use them on my Steam Deck because it doesn't bother me, but it might be a deal-breaker for others.

These grips are unlike other grips out there. They are very grippy without feeling like sandpaper and give a level of control that is needed. They do not rely on clips that can dig into and possibly damage a controller’s thumbstick. I have them on Steam Deck, Razer V3, PS5 controller, and PS Portal. We will see about longevity as mentioned in other reviews. For now, they are awesome and worth my money.

These are the absolute best of the best. They don't peel or cause plastic to shred unlike my kontrolfreek ones did. I wrote them a complaint because it caused a controller stick drift and I had to warranty claim which was a pain. These fit perfectly and grip is amazing.

As advertised, soft, good grip. I bought if for my steam controller, which fits nicely. Used the other on my valve deck, it also fits very well, but he "touch" input action do not work with it. I'd have liked another pair with different height included, for the price I payed.
