Awesome budget/beginner skateboard!
(Note: I also own a $170 custom board from tactics so im not just some parent who gifted their kid this and knows nothing about skateboarding.) Pros: Perfect budget option for beginners (I started out on this) Sturdy trucks Bearings that actually turn pretty well Solid wheels Prebuilt (so you dont have to worry about putting it together) Cheap Cons: The grip tape isn't the grippiest (could be a pro) The actual board part isnt very durable (I chipped a decent chunk out of the back part of the board but it's still rideable. I just wouldnt grind on this) Slight paint defect on the bottom graphic Conclusion: Definitely buy if you want to get into skating, but not if you know a ton of tricks because that might break the board and injure you.

Good lil board
Weโve had this since 2021, so about 4 yrs. People say itโs cheap, but itโs made for kids learning. Not for teens. Pay attention to weight max. Tho my daughters guy friend (20โs) used it and it held up just fine for him. I bought it for an 8 yr old. Itโs shaped to teach balance, the wheels arenโt as slippery. Now heโs 12, still great lil board since heโs on the short side. He can do tricks on it too.

Good board for beginners
//UPDATED ADDITION TO REVIEW// I've had the board for a while now, and most of my original review stands true. However, this board does chip on the nose, tail, and sometimes sides very easily, which will minimize your pop and can lead to the board's layers eventually splitting. Keep in mind though, I have been very hard on this board and am still surprised at its ability to stand up to what I put it through, considering the price range. - - - - - Original review: (Pictures were taken after riding board) Purchased this complete for practicing tricks. Great for beginners and anybody who just wants to have fun and cruise around. I've been hard on it for several days now to put it to the test and it has held up nicely. The board itself is sturdy and hasn't broken or come apart so far. The board is sized properly and has no noticeable damage except a small scratch near the front truck. It looks as if they scratched the laminate and then patched it up. Not a big deal in my opinion, as it isn't too noticeable. The hardware seems sturdy (I'll write a more detailed review after I test at a skate park). The only problem I had with them were the screws that attach the trucks to the deck. Only one of them was countersunk, but they don't stick out far enough to cause problems, and it's an easy fix to countersink them. The trucks weren't as loose as I prefer mine to be but they are suitable for riding around. One wheel was on a little too tight on the front truck but the board rides smoothly. In my personal opinion, the grip tape is very soft and not as coarse as I'd like, but it gets the job done. It does chip and peels very easily around the edges, however, so I would recommend investing in some better grip tape (Mob, Amgrip and Grizzly are my personal preference but almost any grip tape will do). The graphic on the deck is really nice, if a tad grainy, and it has held up well. It has not chipped or faded, but I haven't had it long enough to give a proper review on this. Again, great board for beginners, definitely worth the price. I've had no issues besides the grip tape so far and this board has served me well. I would certainly recommend as the first board for anyone looking to get into skating or someone who just wants to cruise around on the board. It handles tricks and has nice pop, but if you are looking for something that will stand the test of time and perform professionally, I would invest in getting a high-quality board at a skate shop. Overall, the board is nice and good quality, especially considering the price.

Great
It came in a box but the front of the box was smashed, thankfully no damage to the board, it comes with the trucks pretty loose wich isn't bad but i think it's a great board, did notice a few air bubbles under the grip tape but they come out easily overall it's a good board and its fun to ride

Great Beginner Board
I bought this for my son and he loves it. The trucks are a little tight and the paint job seemed to be a little chipped when we got it and has gotten worse. But it is sturdy and offers him a good wide platform for his first board. The wheels are OK for the price and I expect he'll have this one for a while. I read that the weight limit was in the 225 range. I wouldn't trust that as it is perfect for my 65 pound son, but feels like it could buckle under me. I'd say it's a 4.5 STAR board

Good Starter Board, but Wears Out Quickly
I bought this board because my friend and I have gotten into skateboarding. I've never really skated much before, so I figured I'd buy a board that wasn't super expensive. The board looks really nice, has metal trucks, decent bearings, and the graphic is sweet too. After a couple of weeks of getting comfortable on the board, I started messing around with some simple tricks, just trying to ollie and shove-it. After a single night of practicing shove-its, the grip tape started to pull up at the edge of the board a decent amount. And after practicing (and failing) some ollies, the lamination of the wood that makes up the board actually started to separate. I knew at that point that I should invest in a better board. Also, the wheels say they are either 100a-101a (which is the hardness of the wheel), but they are definitely softer. Probably more like 80a-85a. I tried powersliding multiple times, and the board simply wouldn't rotate. The wheels were too "sticky". Since then, I've purchased a much better quality, brand-name board (Blind) and it holds up significantly better. The wheels on my new board are listed as 99a I believe (Spitfire wheels) and they slide much better than the wheels from the Minority board. OVERALL: It's a good starter board if you're mostly just riding around and not doing tricks, just trying to get comfortable. If you are seriously trying to get into skateboarding and attempting tricks, I would recommend checking out an actual skateboard website, like Skate Wearhouse. Or better yet, hit up your local skate shop and get a board there. Talking to someone in-person who knows about boards will be a significant help.

Son Loves it!
Great great skateboard. Very well made, I was really impressed. Took a bit of time to arrive but my son loves it! The design is terrific and he was very pleased with this. It was a birthday gift as he had been begging for a skateboard for a while!

I got two of these skateboards for my son's who are 10 and 13 and they both said the boards are great! One of the boards started to creak right away but it didnt affect the ride at all.
