What is the media code on these?

The MID/DID/Manufacturer ID/Disc ID on these discs is MCC 03RG20. They are NOT CMC junk. The DataLife Plus series was always designed to be higher quality Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation discs.

These discs say 4.7 gb, but all data storage is a bit off, sometimes by about a half gig even. What's the real average data amount per disc?

The amount of actual storage depends on how well your data fits the nominal 2048 byte sectors and any variability in the manufacturing process. The minimum amount of raw storage has to be 3.95GB. does anyone know if these are just for audio or could they be used for photographs?

These items are coded so you would know the difference, CD's are used for data and audio. DVD's can be used for audio, data, and videos. DScrev.

The printing program I use needs the diameter of the hole so it won't try to print over it and that info isn't stated in the dimensions. Anyone know?

I use 23mm for the hub printing.
