This things awesome! I love tricking out my bike with little gadgets and practical things as well. I’ve gone thru a lot of break lights over the years and this is the only one I’ve wanted to rate! Works so well, has lots of intelligent features like auto off in daylight, and getting brighter when breaking! Installation was super easy can be accomplished two different ways which is handy. Highly recommend! My only slight gripe is that you have to unscrew it from the mount to charge. A quick release would be nice, although the last one I had fell off when riding and it had a quick release! I guess we can’t have it all can we? 😅

This is the best taillight I’ve come across. It’s made of metal-not plastic. It screws securely to the rods under the bike seat or it will “bungee” to the seat tube. The light itself unscrews to recharge and seems to hold a charge for a good amount of time. It offers a variety of blink settings. I particularly like the charge level indicator- four tiny blue lights around the center of the lens that go out one at a time as the level decreases. It is very bright and easily seen in daylight. I would buy this light again.

Update: I would remove stars (not possible) because the “saddle bracket” after coming loose eventually fell off.They include a second alternative method “seat post strap” which is way more reliable.The primary attachment method is flawed do not use it or you will lose it!, or you will have to replace it. I will NOT re-purchase this item if it fails again!I have purchased numerous cheap tail lights in the past which usually end up falling off or dying after a few months. I haven’t had this one for that long but I dig it! I didn’t know how well it worked until I switched bikes with my girlfriend and rode behind her. The light is bright and quite noticeable and when you slow down it brightens and then goes out like a brake light. There are two mounting options which Enables me to quickly switch it To my other bike. The battery is strong, and charges up relatively quick. Don’t need to worry about the battery dying on long rides.

I purchased this taillight to augment the anemic flasher on my Garmin Varia Radar. The RockBros light is a great value and an excellent rear light. A full charge seems to last forever and the brake light function is appreciated by riding partners. The light is very bright and easily visible even on a sunny day. The light came with two mounts, a strap for the seat post or a clamp on mount for the seat rails. The light screws into either of them just like a bottle cap. The charging port is accessed when you unscrew the light from the mount. The strap mount works fine, but as a rule I just don't trust straps. I used the clamp mount, which installed easily and holds the light in place on the rails. The clamp was a slight bit loose on my rails, but a small bit of tape under the clamp fixed the issue. I've used the light for about 1500 miles on gravel and trails with no issues. Taillights are a simple bit of kit, but I really appreciate the added visibility, both day and night. Hard to beat the value and function with this light.

Good build quality and mounting hardware feels secure. I like the two mounts included; one light for two bikes; just unscrews from one mount to screw onto the other. USB-C charging is always nice. The 4 modes have good options for always flashing or motion detection.Brightness is pretty good for night-time, but won't overcome sunset-type conditions and the light is not very noticeable in daylight. I'd recommend finding a brighter rear light for day time. The 4 dots for battery level are helpful but don't work great. I haven't seen 1 dot "25% battery life" because it dies after it gets to 2 dots. That said, if it's charged up the battery life is still decent and overall still a good light.
