All the best features for less than the high brands
I bought these headphones for my wife since we are going overseas by plane. I wanted something that had good noise cancelling without breaking the bank. Instead these headphones not only had good noise cancelling, but the features it has are really great.First let's talk about the accessories. The headphones comes with a case, a headphone jack with pause/play button, a USB c charger cable, and a airplane adapter. Just by having these accessories it feels like I bought some 200 dollars headphones. Now the features. I really like the wearing detection feature were the headphones pauses whatever you are playing when you take them off, and resumes when you put them back on. Also if you put your hand over the right cuff for 1 second the transparency mode switches on, making it ideal for talking to people without taking your headphones. The app comes with ambient music to help you sleep on while traveling. And last the battery life does last as advertised, 30 hours play time.TLDR: Great features and accessories for a great price.

Great Sounding, Feature Filled.
For the price, these are amazing. Best to EQ them on the app (I like acoustic) for optimal sound. As good as they sound via bluetooth, 3X better when you attach the cable (also needed for good call quality -- bluetooth is NG for all calls on all headphones I've learned). Also has tap control on headphone for transparency feature so you can hear the world if need be. Super quality for the low cost relative to the Sony 1000 or other models.. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT... After using these headphones for a while, I have found that the buttons are very hard to differentiate without removing the headset and looking at them. If they changed the shape or texture of the buttons based upon their function, the headphones would be much easier to use.

Wow
Hubby has Q20.I have Q35 & there is a difference between them. Q35 much quieter...tested on planes & when at coffee shop with screaming babies...Q35 are a godsend for all types of noise blocking.I wear glasses aswell & these are light & comfortable.Just do it, buy there!

Blocks 80-100% of most apartment noises
NOISE CANCELLINGI bought this headset specifically for the active noise cancelling features and it did not disappoint. It doesn't block everything but at the very least reduces the noise significantly. My neighbors play heavy bass throughout the day and before you could hear it vibrate through the walls. The noise cancelling in this headset reduces it to a faint sound, even if you aren't playing anything through the headset.SOUND QUALITYMusic sounds excellent in the headset even with noise cancelling on. It seems to be more setup for bassy or mid level music which sound very good. To my untrained ear they provide ample power for heavy music and sound great overall, especially at this price.

Excellent Sound!
My second pair. My first was the Q20. After two years the leather on the headphones wore out, releasing the foam. The sound still worked fine. My 2nd pair was the Q35s and I’m amazed how much better these sound. With all the extra features its worth it to upgrade for a little extra $!! Im hoping this leather last longer. I’ll definitely buy again! I use these while i ride my zero turn lawnmower. They cancel 80% of the motor noise!

Better than the Bose Quite Headphones I have used for last 2 years
Better than the Bose Quite Headphones I have used for last 2 years. These are more comfortable than the Bose and have more features that make these a GREAT deal.I got 2 sets(1 for my wife) for less than it cost for a single pair of Bose.I am MOST pleased.

Good sound, BUT buggy.
This article also applies to the Q30 model,as there have been only minor changes. Now, ANC can be turned off in the app,and there are a few more settings,BUT the main issues remain. To begin with, the device has decent sound within its price range.Perhaps a bit bass-heavy, especially with ANC enabled.Personally, this didn't bother me.Regardless, the price is good, especially when it drops below $90,which seems to be happening more often now. However, here comes the big BUT.What's missing from all the reviews is the behavior of the FIRMWARE.While there is an app to fine-tune ANC & EQ settings,I adjust them only once, rendering the app useless afterward. The TOUCH controls can finally be turned off. This is a relief, as I often accidentally activate ANC while relaxing in my chair. So far, I haven't received a single FIRMWARE update. When I had tried to report the issues to the support for the Q30 headset,it never seemed to work, and none of my problems were addressed."For this reason, there's now the Q35 model, where the Touch controls can't be deactivated on the Q30.And now the problems:It takes what feels like an eternity to power on & off,I remember other/older headsets being quicker. The voice announcements are far too lengthy and always play in full. When switching modes during messages, the announcements are NOT mixed into the audio stream, but should be blended INTO the audio stream, resulting in a complete interruption until they finish. This means that when switching from 'normal' to 'ANC',the 'transparency mode' announcement is played alongside and fully, making it impossible to understand the moderator's message.Unfortunately, I can't permanently disable transparency mode, even though I never use it and prefer to push the headset aside, or leave one ear free.A blind person would likely become frustrated quickly.Older headsets had beep tones, while newer ones merge the announcement with the soundor allow the announcements to be disabled,or let you install different firmware for various language regions.None of these options are applicable here. Why this is such an issue becomes clear at the latestwhen the regular "low battery" announcement comes in.I always feel like saying:"Yes, thanks, but can I finish watching the movie first?" >:(It seems they didn't realize the device can last more than about 2 hours. Thus, the device annoys multiple times per hour with the announcement, which is lengthy and interrupts the movie audio, forcing me to rewind. If they were just simple beep tones, they wouldn't bother me much.Additional problems:For some time now, there's been a bug with my Samsung A22 5G (Android 13),which first appeared with the Q30 and still persists due to the lack of firmware updates.Upon initial connection, the sound starts pulsating, and during phone calls, there's a strong noise disturbance.Sometimes, restarting the device resolves this issue.Unfortunately, the problem occurs around 80% of the time during connection attempts.I don't experience these issues on my Windows PC.The problem is highly inconsistent and hard to reproduce.Resetting the headset helps somewhat but not always.I suspect it's related to the Bluetooth codec and the multipoint feature.Interestingly, the exact same problem exists with the Q35,which I purchased specifically to address this issue, making it even more frustrating.Perhaps someone can provide me with information about whether this issuealso occurs with other models, such as the Q45?To summarize the ratings briefly:Sound & Bluetooth: 4 stars (deducted for excessive bass with ANC, otherwise 5 stars)Price/Performance: 5 stars (above $90, 4 stars)Behavior & Firmware: 1 star (due to battery announcement, lack of changes in the new model)Conectivity: -1 star (the connection problems are a big deal for me)thanks for reading.
